Love and Lies

“Lay…..” I said going silent. I didn’t want her to be upset at me. “I just want the best for you and I’m sorry if it didn’t seem like it.”
“I know. I’m sorry for getting so upset. I don’t want to get my hopes up for nothing.”
“Well we’re going to find cute English boys so we don’t even have to think about anyone guys from here” I said cheerfully. I was so ready for a new group of guys. Plus English guys dress ten times better. I was sick of “swag”.
“Oh, yeahh! Do you think there will be any famous people on our flight? I look cute right?” (http://weheartit.com/entry/62347597/via/therealtherichanel) She said excitedly.
“Oh my gosh, Lay. That only happens in fanfics. And yeah, you look really cute. We’ll be sitting on a plane for like 6 hours and you wear that.” I told her.
“Shut up! You know I’d rather be cute than comfy,” Layla replied back.
“I know and you’re crazy for that. But, hey, one of us got to look good.”
“Ella you look fine,” she said giggling.

When we arrived at the airport, I started to get more excited. I was actually leaving home and going to a different country with my best friend.
“Elllaaa!” Layla said while trying to get my attention.
“Sorry, it’s just so real,” I said while pulling our suitcases out of her car. “Oh my gosh, why did we pack so much stuff? I feel like we brought our entire wardrobe.”
“Well, I did go shopping so I brought all my new clothes,” Layla said giggling
“So then we go shopping there, you’re not allowed to buy anything,” I said as I put the rest of our luggage on a cart.
“What? No. I am still going to go shopping there, I just won’t buy as much.”
“Yeah okay, Lay.”
“Umm, excuse me?” When I looked up, I saw the bluest eyes on a guy I have ever seen in my entire life.
