I Can't believe you
Daisy's POV
After I drop sky off Sky at 24 Hour Fitness I go over to Starbucks. I get a grande mocha cookie crumble they are my favorite. I normally always wake up and drive Sky to her morning jobs because I don't like her walking at 4:30 in the morning one time she even got hit by a car. And her dad kicked her and beat her terribly that night too. I feel so bad for her. I still can't get out of my head what he does to her. He doesn't know that I know because Sky tells me not to ask him about it.
I remeber when I was little and I slept over at her house, her house was so much different from mine. My house is a mansion has granite floor, hard wood floors, nice showers, washing machines, and a beautiful kitchen. Her house is a 2 bedroom 2 full bathrooms and a kitchen. She doesn't even really have a backyard it's all weeded out. My backyard is giant and has a pool, jacuzzi, basketball and volleyball court. I always feel so awkward asking her to come over because my home is so nice. I hope she doesn't feel awkward coming over.
When I'm done with my drink and homework for my English class in collage. I leave Starbucks and drive over to Sky's house to go talk to her dad. Before, I go to Stefano's Italian food to pick up dinner for her dad so he will be more willing to let her sleep over.
When I pull up to her house I know he's home because the white Camry is still sitting in front of the house. I knock and he opens the door.
"Who the hell could this be?"
"Hi Mr. Mitchell! How are you. I brought dinner for you. It's Italian!"
" Ohh Im so sorry Daisy. Thank you."
"Ohh your welcome! I was wondering of it would be ok if Sky could sleep over tonight and tomorrow night?"
"Umm sure actually that would be perfect! Umm could you tell her to call me tonight too please or is she gonna come home first?"
" I was going to pick her up from her job and take her straight to my place because she gets off at like 11 at night. I'll tell her though. Could I come in and grab some clothes for her please?"
" Ohh ok thank you Daisy. You are so sweet. And yeah you can come in just be careful there is glass I the hallway... Umm I-I dropped... Umm a case... I mean vase when you knocked you frightened me."
" Ohh I'm sorry I scared you I didn't mean too," I say as I walk to the Sky's room.
" Ohh no it's perfectly fine I don't love her anyway... I-I mean I didn't like the vase anyway haha."
When I was into Sky's room I grab her backpack from under her bed and throw her pajamas and normal clothes in her bag too. When I reach to grab her under wear I notice blood on one of her underwear. I pick them up and throw them in to the trash in her room. Then I hear a clink I pick them up again and notice 3 bloody blades in the underwear.
"Uhh again when is she going to quit!" I whisper to myself.
I zip up her backpack say bye to Mr. Mitchell and leave. I drive over to my shift at Nordstrom rack.
Durning my lunch break I buy some cute clothes for Sky to wear to meet One Direction. She hates it when I buy her clothes, so I'm just going to hang them up in my closet and pick them out for her to wear. I hope she likes it.
Sky's POV
I can't wait to sleep over at Daisy's!!! I absolutely love her home. I hope I can have a home like hers one day! When my shift is finally done at 11 o'clock am I walk across the street to Nordstrom Rack where my second Job is. I walk in and see Daisy, she's on her break.
" Hey Daisy! Did you talk to my dad?"
"Yeah."
She doesn't even look up from the racks something's wrong. O shit maybe he hit her, or maybe I'm just not aloud to sleep over. O wait what if I am sleeping over and she packed my clothes.
" You saw them didn't you?"
" YES SKY I DID!!! Why do you do that really? I know you hurt and all, but cutting isn't the answer!"
Trying to stay calm I respond to her.
" For me it is. You may not like it, but when you start you can't stop. Love and patience would help. But your not patient, so your no help to me!"
"ARE YOU FUCKING KIDDING ME!!!! I wake up early to drive you to work! I buy you clothes. And your telling me I don't help!! That's bull shit!"
I can't hold it in anymore I burst into tears and I close my eyes. The next thing I know arm are wrapped around me and pulling me in for a hug. I love hugs I rarely get hugs because I try extremely hard not to cry in front of people, but today just pushed me over.
"I'm sorry Daisy today is not my best day. Am I still allowed to sleep over?"
"Of course babe, I'm sorry too I should have been more sensitive. Scarlett is sleeping over too. I hope that's fine."
" Of course I love Scarlett!! Well, I will talk to you after my shift I am already a little late."
" Ok. Ohh and your dad wants you to call him. I'll pick you up from the school at 8 I'll drop you off since I end my shift at the same time as you. Ill go home and bake some cookies for the night too!"
