Hidden Lies (MAJOR EDITING)

Steph’s POV

“Urgh you two disgust me.” Tiffany rolled her eyes at Harry and I snuggled up in bed.

“This could’ve been you if you didn’t screw things up with Liam.” I snapped.

“Hey! Don’t push that on me!” Tiff stood up.

“Look Tiffany, what I’m trying to say is, I’m your best friend and always will be, but I can’t help you in this situation. The only one who can fix it is you.”

“I’m going out.”

She spoke as if I’d never said anything, and walked over to pull her gumboots on.

“It’s past curfew!” I tried.

“Whatever.” And with that, she slammed the door.

“I don’t know what I’m gonna do with her.” I rolled over to face Harry, who surprisingly had a big grin on his face.

“What?" I asked.

“You do know we have this room to ourselves now…”

The same grin on Harry’s face spread to mine, and within seconds, our clothes were on the floor and Harry was inside me.

Tiffany’s POV

I walked out of the dorm building, not caring if I was seen. I made my way down the gravel road, breathing in deep and feeling the crisp English air fill my lungs.

I’d found the oval, and made my way to the back. The crispy, wet grass crunched under my wellies.

Reaching the back of the oval, I sat right under a small tree that held many memories. My mind flooded with memories, and my eyes filled with tears as I remembered.

“Come on Tiff.” Liam laughed as he ran in front of me to the back of the oval.

“I’m running as fast as I can!”

Liam slowed to a halt at a small tree at the back of the oval. The sun was shining but there was still a chill in the air. Typical England weather.

“Look at this tree!”

I slowed next to Liam, puffing like crazy. “What…? It’s just a tree.”

“Sit down!” Liam laughed.

I sat down next to my friend. “What is it?”

I looked into Liam’s eyes and he suddenly fell serious. “I wanna ask you something.”

My smile faded to a small grin. “Yes?”

“Well, I like being friends with you but I would like to be more than friends with you…”

I searched Liam’s eyes for answers, encouraging him to say more.

“Will you be my girlfriend Tiffany?”

I stared blankly at him for a moment, but I knew what to say. I smiled really big and looked into his eyes.

“Yes.”

Liam’s face broke into the biggest smile and he chuckled before turning to the little tree.

‘Liam and Tiffany, forever and ever.’ He carved into the tiny trunk.

“This is our tree, and is it grows, our love will grow.”

I giggled, and kissed him right on the lips.

As I pulled myself out of the memory, my eyes wet, I heard a small, familiar voice behind me."Please don't cry…” It said.
