You'd Never Know
Chapter 2
*Adriana's POV*
Tonight is going really well, I thought to myself half paying attention to the the game. We were winning, 28-3 and we had just scored another touchdown, so they're really wasn't that much to it tonight. I usaully love the chance to be involved with sports in any way possible, but tonight was much more exciting than the game. It was my seventeenth birthday today and I wanted to just have a sleepover with Erin, but she talked me into going out. And so far, well lets just say best birthday ever. We haven't gotten bullied all night, and that's like a new record for us(I know, it's sad). I know this may sound weird, but probably one of the biggest reasons that tonight is so great, is that it's so beautiful out. There aren't many clouds, and there is a big beautiful full moon. Thinking about made me want to see it again, so I flipped one of my legs of the platform of the bleachers that we were sitting on, and strattled the bench. I studied the moon for awhile, memorizing it so I could draw it in my sketchbook once i got home. And then turned around, to see an array of our school colors. Then my eyes stopped on a certian head, with beautiful green eyes. He was staring at me. Not in like a creepy way, but in a sweet, interesting kind of way. What was I thinking? He was friends with them. The school bitches, speaking of them, where were they? The only one that I saw was Katie, but considering how evil and caniving she was, I'd say she was just as bad as all of them combind, and that didn't make me feel any better. I turned back around, trying to get the face of him staring at me out of my head. When I heard her say to Harry, "I know right, what a freak!" I turned around to see her glare at me, and I swear I saw Harry smirk.

He was the only one that showed a little bit of regret when the girls made fun of me, and called me names. I felt so hurt. And I probably let on my hurt look way to much because when Katie saw my face, she bursted out laughing. I tried to back my tears that were building up, but I couldn't. I wasn't even close to strong enough, so I got up, and ran. I didn't really even know where I was running at first until I saw the girls bathroom. Since I wasn't really thinking, turned left super fast, before I was even off the metal steps that seperated the bleachers and the ground, so I ended up doing a front flip over the railing on the side of the steps. Thank god I took gymnastics in first grade, otherwise I probably would've cracked my head open. But luckily I landed on my feet, and continued sprinting through the abnormally large crowd. Running into people here and there. Finally after what felt like forever, I made it to the bathroom, I threw open the door , and picked the closest stall to me. Thank god no one was in there to here me sobbing. I slammed the door shut, locked it and slid down on it eventually landing on the grimy ground. He was the only one in the school who showed regret(besides Erin and Lou) about them tourmenting me. I know he has no reason to be nice to me, but I thought he was the sweet one. I guess I was wrong. Worst. Birthday. Ever.
