You'd Never Know
Chapter 1
*Harry's POV*
I watched as our quarterback caught the ball in the end zone, just before getting tackled by the other team. The crowd roared as the referee did some hand motions, stating that we got the touchdown. As the teams set up for the field goal, I was interrupted from my deep thoughts because someone tapped my shoulder. I turned around to see Katie. "What?" I asked.
"This is boring," she whined with a frown, "I'm going to get a hot dog, please come with?"
"No thanks," I answered turning back to the game, when I saw a beautiful girl stradling the bleachers talking to two people on each side of her. I'd seen her around school before, but never really talked to her. This was actually the closest I've ever gotten to her. She was across the steps, and about three rows down. I've seen Katie and the girls making fun of her before, a lot(I really don't now why I hang out with them sometimes) and don't know why I never stopped it. I guess I'm not really brave enough. I thought away from those thoughts, and just started looking at her. I don't know why, until I noticed the Katie was still standing there. Whoops. "What?" I asked impatiently.
She followed my stare to the girl, "I know what a freak, am I right? she said, way too loudly. Right after she said those words, I saw her and her two friends look up at us. Shit. She looked at me, with a hurt expression, and she ran off towards the restroom to the left of the bleachers. I felt terrible. Should I go after her? Tell her that I don't think she's a freak? I don't know---"Harrrrrryyyyyy!!" she said interrupting my thoughts, "Come with me to get a hot dog!" She said in a sweet but whiny voice. Whatever I thought to myself, as I got up and she grabbed my hand looking excited, and dragged me to the concession stand.
