A night to remember
Kari's POV
Calum and I have been texting back and forth for a while now. He has to be the sweetest guy I've ever met. Nothing like the guys back home. He makes me feel special, like anything I do is perfect in his eyes. We weren't official yet but that didn't matter. I loved spending time with him. I haven't really told Rayvane and Sarah about Calum because I want to make sure that what we have isn't just a fling, but I think they are starting to get suspicious.
"So what's his name?" Rayvane asked me one day as we were all sitting around.
"I have no idea what you're talking about" I said trying to keep a straight face.
"Oh don't lie to us Kari we both see how you go around smiling at your phone all the time, and how you're gone all hours of the day."
"Hey where's my converse that I let you borrow last week?" I asked Rayvane trying to change the subject.
"Oh no lady don't pull that on us. Tell us who he is!" Sarah said getting excited
I started to blush not knowing how to beat around the bush about the subject any longer.
"It's none of your business." I said running to the safety of my room.
"You're going to have to tell us eventually sissy" I could hear Rayvane and Sarah snickering in the background.
I have a date with Calum tonight, I can't wait to see him but I wonder how I'm going to sneak out without them seeing me...
Calum's POV
Tonight was the night that I was going to ask Kari to be my girlfriend. I'm extremely nervous but I think it will go well. I had a couple of hours to kill so I took a shower and started getting ready. I had no idea what to wear so I decide to ask Zayn for some advice.
"Hey bro I'm going on a date tonight what should I wear?" I asked Zayn who was in the spare room writing new music.
"A date? Since when do you go on dates little brother?" Zayn asked smiling at me
"Since I met this beautiful girl a couple of weeks back. She's absolutely perfect." I said blushing a little.
"Aww look at my little brother growing up and getting a girlfriend." He said as getting out of his chair and ruffling my hair.
"Aw shut up and help me." I said jokingly
Zayn and I made our way to my closet and started going through my clothes.
"How about this?" I asked pulling an oufit
"Bro you don't wear that on a date" He said laughing at me
"Shut up I've never really done this before" I said defensively "What about this?" I said pulling out another outfit
"Eh i'm not feeling it"
We went on like this for a while, I was starting to run out of clothes.
"What about this one?" I asked starting to get discouraged.
Zayn looked at me up and down for a moment before he spoke.
"That's the one." he said smiling at me from ear to ear . I breathe a sigh of relief.
"Well I got to finish getting ready for tonight thanks brother for all of your help." I said going over to him to give him a hug.
"Anything for you little B. Let me know how your date goes yeah?"
"I sure will" I said to him as he left my room. I can't wait to see Kari tonight.
Kari's POV
I had just finished getting dressed and I have to say I look pretty good. I peeked out my door to see if anyone was in the living room. Damn it I said to myself as I see the girls chilling out on the couch watching some horror movie. Well I'm going to have to face them sooner or later might as well get it over with now, So I walked out of my room.
"I'll see you guys later" I said headed straight for the door. They both turned around at the sound of my heels clicking.
"Oooo look at you all dolled up." Sarah said "Going to meet you boo are we?"
"As a matter of fact I am. So bye." I said a I continued to the door.
"At least tell us his name." Rayvane pleaded.
I thought about it for a moment and decided that's the least I can give to them. "His name is Calum." They both looked at each other and started awing.
"Calum how cute." Sarah gushed
"Tell Calum we said hi!" Rayvane added on
"Don't have too much fun." Sarah said cheekily
I couldn't help but laugh as I said my final goodbyes for the night, knowing that tonight will be a night to remember.....
