Chapter Nine
(Jory's pov)
I was getting out of bed to head to work, when I manage to trip over a shoe, that happened to be Niall's.
"Niall, learn to pick up your shoes!" I yelled.
"Sorry!" He yelled, from downstairs.
I jumped into the shower and did everything and stepped out, it was October weather so I had to dress warm. I decided on this:
After I got dressed I put my hair in a bun and did my make-up
I looked myself over and I looked pretty damn good. I went downstairs and Niall was sitting in the living room watching soccer.
"Hey babe, I'm leaving for work, I'll be home at 1p.m. for Sammie's surprise birthday party." I replied.
"Okay, Have a great day!" He said, giving me a kiss goodbye.
I got in my car and drove to Walmart. Sammie arrived when I did.
"Hey Happy birthday, I said giving her a hug.
"Thanks, I'm getting old." She said, with a laugh.
"Please, your only twenty-one." I said, rolling my eyes.
"I know, I'm aloud to drink now." She pointed out.
"Don't remind me, I won't be twenty-one until four more months and I'll be seven months pregnant." I said, frustrated.
We went inside the store and the place was packed. I went to cashier 3 and Sammie went to cashier 4...people are already in the line. The first ones were a mother with her one -year old, well he looked one.
"Hi, did you find everything okay?" I asked, politely as I rung her stuff up.
"Yes, thank you." She said, smiling.
"Your total is 16.95." I reply.
She handed me $20 bill. "Your change is $3.05,have a great day." I said and she left.
I run a few more people up and I took a bathroom break, because the baby was sitting right on my bladder. After I returned a guy came up with a few things.
"Hello, did you find everything okay?" I asked.
"Yes, thank you." He replied.
I rung up his stuff. "Your total is $53.00." I said.
He gave me the exact change and I handed him his receipt. "Have a great day." I said, smiling.
I looked up at the time and it was 10:00 a.m, I still had three hours to go. I looked over at Sammie and she looked miserable. She wasn't suppose to work today but they were short on staff. She has no clue that we are throwing her a surprise birthday party after work. While I didn't have any customers I decided to text Niall and see if there getting everything ready.
hey babe, is everything getting done? I hit the send button, I got an instant reply.
Yes, everything is almost done but someone messed up on the cake order so they had to redo it,Kaleigh is picking it up on her way over here.
I got his text and sent a okay and got back to work..In the pass three hours I had to ring people up and tell them where stuff was...I grabbed my things and left, Sammie didn't get off until 1:30.
I walked in and every was there like Perrie and Zayn, Kaleigh and Harry, Liam and Niall..Louis and Eleanor were on there way over.
"Alright everyone, everything looks amazing." I said, happily.
I was putting the beverages on the table and the baby decided to kick me.
"Ouch." I said, painfully.
Niall rushed over."Princess are you okay?" He asked, concern spreading over his face.
"Yeah, the baby just kicked me." I said.
"Okay." He said, sighing with relief.
He just nodded and we finished the stuff just in time, Sammie wiggled the doorknobbed and came in....
"Surprise!" Everyone yelled.
Her face looked like this:
"Omg guys, this is so amazing." She said, welling up with tears.
"You had no idea did you?" I asked, smugly.
"Nope." She said.
"Well sit, because you are going to open your presents first." I ordered, as she sat down.
"Okay, I'll open yours' first." She said.
I gave her mine and Niall's and it was this:
"Wow guys I've been wanting this one for months. Thank you so much." She said, hugging us.
"Your welcome."
She opened Zayn and Perries and they got her this:
"Wow, the new surface computer, thanks so much." She said happy.
"Mines better." I pointed out.
She just rolled her eyes.
Next was Louis and Eleanor's, they got her wolf car covers:
"Awe, Thanks so much." She said, happy.
Last but not least was Harry and Kaleigh's present, they got her:
"Wow, it's beautiful." She said, flabbergasted.
"Harry told me you love cross necklaces." She said, shyly.
"Your my new best friend." Sammie joked.
"Hey." I said, with a smile.
"Okay Liam, where is my gift?" She asked.
He gave her a small box.
"Liam, this isn't what I think it is?" She asked.
"Sammie, we have only been dating for three-months." He said.
"Okay." She said, and opened the gift,
It revealed this:
"It means, that I want to be with you forever." He said, slipping the ring on her ring finger.
"Awe." Everyone said in unison.
After the presents were opened we did the cake and ended up having a cake fight. after we were done we ended up looking like this:
We washed ourselves off.We all sat down and watched a movie afterwards.
Later that night:
"Wow everyone thanks for the party, Liam and I are going to celebrate with just us." She said, winking.
"Ew, Sammie I don't want to know what you will be doing."I said, disgusted.
"What you told me when you and Niall first did it." She said, laughing.
"What!" NIall yelled.
"She is my best friend." I said, innocently.
He just shook his head.
"Alright everyone have a goodnight." I told them, as Liam and Sammie left.
"Yeah, I think El is tired." Louis said, and I nodded.
"See you tomorrow for shopping." Perrie said.
"Okay, have a goodnight." I said.
Everyone was gone.
"Wow what a party." I said, yawning.
"I know, I'm going up to shower and then go to bed." He replied.
Niall went up to shower and I just went up to take the make-up off of my face and put pajamas on, you could see my belly showing through the shirt. It was cute.
Niall stepped out of the shower and came in with a towel wrapped around his waist:
"Looking good babe." I said, checking him out.
"Thanks." He said, blushing.
After two years of dating he still gets shy with me. Niall got dressed and climbed in bed with me
"Good night princess, I love you." He said, as he kissed the baby.
"Love you to." I said.
We ended up falling asleep like this:
