Chapter Eighteen: Fights/Make-ups )Six months pregnant
(Jory's pov:)
I was sitting here getting ready for my 6 mth check up, it sucks that Niall isn't going with me, but at least Sammie is going with me. Anyways I managed to put an outfit on it, it looked like this:
I went downstairs and Sammie was sitting on the couch waiting for me, she was fiddling with her engagement ring. She was wearing this:
"Awe your missing Liam aren't you?" I asked.
"Yeah, very much. We haven't had time to plan the wedding yet." She said, smiling sadly.
"I know, well we better go it's 1:30." I said.
She nodded and we headed out as she grabbed her purse, I was getting to big to fit behind the wheel.
"I can't believe in three-months Landyn will be here." She said, excitedly.
"I know, I'm so glad Niall is going to come back before I deliver." I said, with relief.
She nodded, we pulled up to the doctor's office and went straight in.
"Hi Jory, please sign in and she will be with you momentarily." The secretary said.
I nodded and sat down.
"Do you want me to go in with you?" Sammie asked.
"Yeah if you don't mind." I said, uneasily.
"Sure, what are godparents for." She said, smiling.
I smiled back. I waited for a few more minutes before the nurse came back and got me.
"Jory Spencer." She said, plainly.
I followed her back to room 5, Sammie sat in the black chair.
"Please put this gown on and Dr. Walsh will be in soon." She said, and walked out the door.
"Gees is that nurse always a bitch?" Sammie asked, angry.
"Yeah, I don't know what her problem is." I said, shrugging.
"Is your doctor nice?" She asks.
"Yeah she is wonderful." I said, smiling.
Sammie just smiled. Dr. Walsh came in.
"Hi Jory, nice to see you again." She said.
"Hi, this is my best friend Sammie." I said, introducing them.
"Hi." She said.
"Okay, are you ready to see the baby in your second trimester?" She asked, getting the stuff ready.
"Yes!" I said, eagerly.
She put some jelly on the tool and rubbed it around on my belly.
"Okay the baby is still healthy as usual, since your in your sixth-month the baby is now 34 centimeters in length and almost weighs 690 grams, meaning he weighs about 1 1/2 pounds, The brain is growing rapidly. His bones are becoming solid, his hands are fully developed.The brain cells are starting to mature, His sex organs are fully developed, which we already know."
"Wow this is alot of information." I said, shocked.
"There is more." She said.
I nodded.
"Baby is now pretty well built portion wise even though it still has little body fat and its skin is thin. The structures of the spine begin to form -- All 33 rings, 150 joints and 1000 ligaments. The tiny brain is growing rapidly, and the baby is starting to fill the space in your uterus,Blood vessels of the lungs develop. Your baby's nostrils begin to open. The nerves around the mouth and lip area are showing more sensitivity now. Their swallowing reflexes are developing. Baby can hear sounds outside the womb and the brain cells are starting to mature also. Already it can learn and remember and can recognise your or Niall's voice. The inner ear bones have hardened so hearing is more acute. Baby may hear your partner's voice more easily than yours, as baby is sensitive to a deeper pitch." She explained.
"Wow no wonder the baby kicks every time Niall is near." I said, astounded.
"Exactly." She said.
"This is so amazing." Sammie said, speaking up.
"Yeah wait until you and Liam have a baby." I said.
"Not happening anytime soon." She said, smiling.
After Dr. Walsh explained everything else I got dressed while she printed out an ultrasound picture of Landyn.
"Okay here you go Jory, I will see you when your eight months pregnant." She said.
"Okay see you then." I said.
I went to the window so I could make an another appointment.
"Hi Jory, when does she want to see you back?" She asked.
"In two-months." I replied.
"Okay, how about April 12 at at 2 pm." She asked.
"That's fine." I said.
She gave me the card and we headed home.
"So it's only 3:00 what should we do now?" Sammie asked.
"How about we call the girls and we can have dinner together, Perrie is finally back from her parents." I said.
"Sounds good to me, I'll make my famous Taco's." She said.
"Oh Harry will hate you." I said, jokingly.
"Well we can't help there gone." She said, with a laugh.
We went back home and Sammie texted everyone and they said it sounds good.
"Hey girly I'm going to go call Niall." I said, heading to the living room.
She nodded and I dialed the familiar number.
"Hello?" The tired voice asked.
"hey babe, what you doing?" I asked.
"Nothing, were getting ready to rehearse for tonight's show." He replied.
"You sound really tired." I told him, I heard someone talking in the background.
"Princess I'm sorry but I have to go." He said.
"But we just started talking." I said, starting to get angry.
"I'm sorry I'll call you later." He said.
"You said that last time and didn't." I said.
"I'm sorry but I do get busy Jory." He said, yelling.
"You know what don't bother." I said, and slammed the phone down.
I slid on the couch crying. Sammie came in to see what was wrong.
"Hon, what's wrong?" I asked.
"Oh Niall and I got into an argument and I hung up on him." I said, welling up with tears.
"Oh, Niall knows you didn't mean it, it's just those damn hormones and him being tired doesn't help." She said, comforting me.
"I know, I'll call him back." I said, calling once again.
He answered on the second ring.
"Hello?" He asks.
"Babe I'm so sorry I got mad at you, it's these damn hormones and on top of it I miss you so much." I said.
"I know and I'm missing you...so much." Niall said.
"Well I love you, and I let you get back to rehearsing." I said.
"Okay, I love you to." He said, and we hung up.
After we hung up I felt better, the girls were here in an instant and Sammie got dinner on.
"Hey girl, how did the appointment go?" Kaleigh asked.
"It went good, he is really healthy." I said.
"I can't wait to through you a baby shower." Perrie said excitedly.
"I know, it's going to be huge." Sammie said.
"So when are you and Zayn getting married I forget?" Eleanor said.
"June 14th 2014." She replied.
"Wow Landyn will be a month old." I said.
"Yeah Liam and I are going to start planning after the tour is over, which is in July." She replied, happily.
"Okay everyone dinner is almost done." Sammie said, going back into the kitchen.
The girls and I started cutting up tomatoes and putting the cheese and lettuce into bowls. We got done pretty quickly.
"Okay everyone lets eat up." I said.
We all sat by each other and ate our dinner, Kayleigh had us laughing because she was telling us about the time her and Harry were making out and he ended up falling off the bed.
"Wow, he is so funny," I said, in between laughs.
Sammie was in tears from laughing so much.
After supper we cleaned up the dishes and settled in the living room, Sammie and I were on the love seat and the other girls were on the couch.
"How about we have a girls night and do our nails." Sammie said, excitedly.
"Sounds good to me." We all replied.
I got the stuff out and we started. After we were done in an hour all of our nails looked like this:

"Wow our nails look amazing." Sammie, expressed.
"I know." Kayleigh said.
After we were done showing our nails off, I was starting to get tired, it was only 8:00 to. This pregnancy was getting annoying. Sammie had to go to bed because she has to work early in the morning and the girls left because they were skyping with the boys, I was getting ready to do that. I sat the computer up and I was getting a call from him.
"Hey babe." He said.
"Hey. like my nails?" I asked him.
"Yeah there pretty." He said.
I had lingerie on and when I showed him he looked like this:
"I can tell you like what you see.": I said, laughing.
He nodded. Afterwards I was tired and so was he, we said goodnight and I went to bed, sleeping in one of Nialls shirts.
