16- A baby's new life
I pick up Lucy and cradle her back and forth, back and forth. "Want to see what a grocery store looks like Lucy? We need for food!" I whisper. Niall walks in and laughs. I pick up the car keys and nod to him. He smirks and grabs the carriage. I place Lucy in gently and put her in the back. I get in the passenger seat and Niall starts the car. "First three days of being parents, success." Niall says. I smile and reply, "First three days of being the luckiest people in the world, success." We both smile and each other and we drive out of the driveway. I plug my Ipod into the GPS and play some music. I turn around and see Lucy sleeping. I smile and tickle her foot. I turn back and look out the window. We pull up to the grocery store and I get Lucy out. As we start to walk in, a huge crowd of paparazzi and girls form around us. The paparazzi starts asking us, "Is this your child Niall?" "Are you two married?" "How old is the baby?" I sigh. I want to keep Lucy safe from paparazzi. I nod at Niall and say, "This isn't ours. We're just babysitting for a close friend of mine." The paparazzi nod and walk off with nothing. The girls stay screaming and grabbing Niall like he's the last man on Earth. I sigh and scream "Get out of here before I call security!" The girls all stare at me and start whispering to each other. I sigh again once hearing Lucy start to cry. I say to all the girls "See what you did? Could you please leave?" They all leave and I cradle Lucy to calm her down. Niall stands next to me with one of his hands around my waist. Lucy finally stops crying and I put her back in the carriage. We walk in and pick up the food we need, diapers, baby food, baby toys, medicine, and baby vitamins. We pay for everything and go back home.
. Once we arrive at home, I hand Lucy to Rose and Zayn while I go upstairs to do somethings. I started cleaning out the extra bedrooms because the boys decided to move in, in case I ever needed help with the baby. Auntie was totally fine with it. Danielle and Alyssa had moved in about a month ago, so we were gonna do buddies. We had nine rooms. My room, Auntie's room, Rose's room, Emily's room, Danielle's room, Alyssa's room, and three extras. The boys each went with their girlfriends so Louis and Emily, Rose and Zayn, Danielle and H Harry, Liam and Alyssa, me and Niall. The boy's stuff was going to be brought over. They had sold the mansion and everything already so, they were ready to move in. I walk down and see Louis and Emily watching TV. I smile and creep past and walk into the kitchen. We had two long halls next to the kitchen on both sides. I went down the left one and to the bathroom. The door was closed so I knocked. "It's Rai, could you hurry I need to use the bathroom." I sit down and play with my thumbs. I suddenly hear someone say through the door, "You can come in." I stand up and open the door. I see Niall giving Lucy a bath and I smile. He's playing ducky with her and splashing water around with her. I sit down next to Niall and my face glows at how happy Lucy is. Niall finishes cleaning Lucy up and I pull her out. I dry her off and put her little footsie pajamas on.
. NIALL'S P.O.V
The next day, I go out shopping by myself. I had to get up early to do this but, it's gonna be worth it. I go to the Jewlry store and walk in. The lady behind the counter nods and I smile. Rai and Lucy we're still asleep when I left. I didn't leave a note or anything so in my luck, she can't wake up. I walk over to the ring area and start looking. If your thinking, I'm going to propose, your absolutely right. I loved Rai with all my heart and soul. She was my princess, the cherry on top, the one I needed in my life. We had a child now too, I think now was the perfect time. We had been dating now for almost two years. Two years ago, that day I saw her I new it was love at first sight. I was her hero, and she was my hero. I look over at this one beautiful diamond ring. I had already told the boys I was proposing to Rai, so they were up planning a way for me to ask her to marry me in the best way possible. I examine the ring carefully at every angle. This ring was beautiful, perfect, magnificent. "How much for this ring?" I ask pointing to the diamond ring that overstood them all. "€101,000" She replied. I nod and write out a check for it. I hand it to her and she smiles. "What's the girls name?" Then she takes a sip of coffee. "Rai." I reply smiling warmly back at her. She widens her eyes and spits out her coffee all over the rug. "You mean, Rai from Four Bells, Rai?" I nod and she shrieks. "I am such a huge fan! Don't tell my boss but I'll give you a discount." I chuckle and reply, "Sure thing." She rings me up and puts the ring in the fancy holder and cleans her smudges. She packs it up and hands it to me. I thank her and walk out. This was the most important day of my life.
. LOUIS'S P.O.V-
"How about a walk along the beach, he kneels down and proposes?" I whisper making sure not to wake Rai up. " Too well known. We need a unique way. Niall wants this to be super special." Liam replies making my answer look rubbish. "What if we rent a boat, Niall and Rai have dinner on it, then walk along the beach, Niall proposes, if Rai says Yes, then we launch fireworks?" Alyssa questions. Liam nods to this one and we all agree. "I'll call the boat renter." I say cheerfully. "We'll go buy the fireworks." Harry and Danielle say. "Liam, Zayn, Rose, Alyssa, and Emily, you all make the dinner. Make it big and filling!" I say. I walk upstairs and pull out my cell phone. I call the boat renters and order a fancy dinner boat. I hang up and walk down. This had to be perfect for Niall. Rai walks downstairs with Lucy in her hands, ten minutes after we have everything ready. "What's going on?" Rai says sleepily. "Nothing just woke up early." Zayn says. We all nod. "Where's Niall?" She asks raising an eyebrow. "He went out to get some more baby food." I say. Rai nods and plops down on the couch and plays with Lucy. That was a close one.
NIALL' S P.O.V-
Zayn calls and tells me eeverything is planned. I smirk and say "Thanks bro." He hangs up and I drive home. I pull up in the driveway. I see the moving van and everyone unpacking. The girls must be putting my stuff in Rai's room because none of my stuff is in there. I walk in and hide the wedding ring. I see Rai walking dow n the stairs with Lucy. I smile and give Rai a hug. She smiles as I kiss Lucy on the forehead. "All your stuff is already set up in our room." Rai smirks. I chuckle and poke her cheek. She giggles like she did when I first met her. I can't believe it's been almost two years. I'm 20 already, Rai is turning 20. Time flies when your having fun.
RAI'S P.O.V-
Later that day at about 4 in the afternoon, Liam recommends me and Niall go out for dinner. He says we've been working to hard and need a break. I agree and Niall walks down and says "I know someplace, dress nice Rai." I nod and go upstairs. I put on some makeup and grab my purse. I go into my part of the walk in closet and put on my heels. I walk down and see Niall in a tuxedo
I smile and Niall grabs my hand. He grabs the car keys and walks me to the car. He opens my door for me then goes into his seat. He starts the car and we drive off. After about 20 minutes we arrive along shore. I become confused as Niall opens the door for me. "What's this?" I ask. "You'll see." We walk a little ways until we come across this small fancy looking boat. I smile and say "Aww Niall! It's beautiful!" We walk on hand in hand and Niall brings me to our dinner table. The waiter brings us our food and I look at the side of the boat as we slowly drift along. "This is beautiful Niall!" I exclaim. The dinner was delicious and really mouth watering. As we pull back to shore, Niall thinks we should walk along shore for a bit. We get off the boat and start to walk along the shoreline. After five minutes, Niall stops. I turn and look at him. He smiles at me and pulls something out of his tuxedo pocket. I become confused once again, but I totally understand when Niall gets down on one knee. "Oh my god." I say. "Rai, I have loved you ever since I first laid eyes on you. How much we have gone through together, I want to cherish forever. I finally found the person on my dreams. My princess. And I don't know what I would do without you. I want to spend the rest of my life with you. Together, our love would be stronger than anything. If I couldn't spend the rest of my life with you, I don't know how I would stand life every day. So, Rai will you marry me?" He says. My mouth drops wide open and my heart starts racing. I start crying and I croak "Yes! Yes Niall yes!" He smiles and jumps up and picks me up. He starts spinning me around and giving me kisses on every spot of my face. I start crying again and he wipes my tears and hugs me. Suddenly, fireworks start shooting up in the air and everyone comes racing down the beach cheering and screaming. All of me and the girls hug while Niall and the boys all hug. Then we all group hug together. I hold Lucy in my arms and say "Hear that Lucy? Me and your daddy are getting married!" She smiles from the way I said it and starts laughing. I hug Lucy and rock her back and forth, back and forth.
