I watched as Lillian and her family went into the restaurant. She needed me as much ad I needed her. And I couldn't just watch from a distance anymore, I had to take action now. I was still being hunted by the Guardian Police, and they wouldn't be able to stay away forever. They would soon find me... And there would go both my job and my life..


I transported to the bathroom, where Lillian would walk in at any moment. And just as I suspected she walked in. Her eyes snapped up to meet mine but they quickly shot down. I smirked and leaned against the wall.

"Family Outing?" I asked.

"Mhm."

"So how's your life?"

"If you're going to mug me, I don't have any money..." She murmured. I chuckled.

"Money means nothing to me. But you do."

A blush appeared on her face. "Are you flirting with me...? I-uh I'm sorry. But I don't swing that way. I like guys.." She whispered in a barely audible voice.

"No no no. I'm a guardian. And I chose you to protect."
