I was awoken by my alarm clock. I was so tired. I rolled over to my side and regretted not going to sleep early last night. I sat up on bed and realized that today was the first day of school again. A smile appeared on my lips.I was actually exited to go back to school. I was finally a senior!! That meant that senior prom was coming and graduation. I really couldn't wait.
I got up from bed and went straight to my closet.
What to wear? i thought to myself as i looked at all the clothes that were displayed bore me. After a few minutes i picked out the outfit that looked more comfortable and placed it on the bed.

15 minutes later i was showered and dressed. I brushed my long mane and sprayed some perfume. With one last glance at myself, i left the room.

"Mom, is breakfast ready?" i yelled as i walked down the stairs
"Sam, can you lower your voice, it's too early" Mom replied from the kitchen
I smiled and went to where she was
"It smells good mom, whatcha cooking?" i asked her when i stepped into the kitchen. I went up behind her and gave her a light kiss on the cheeks
"Bacon and eggs" Mom replied
"Um, my favorite" i said sitting down on one of the kitchen counter
"Get off there and grab a seat" mom scolded
I did as i was told and sat on one of the chairs from the table.
"Where Nikki?" i asked her
"Probably sleeping, you know she's not that exited about going back to school like you are" Mom said placing a plate infront of me
"Well, she should be. School is fun" i said with a confident smile.

A couple of minutes later my younger sister Nichole walked into the kitchen. She was still wearing her pjs.
"What are you doing? you should go get dress. School starts in less than an hour!" Mom told her
"Stop yelling, i don't feel like going" Nichole replied sitting down next to me
"What do you mean you don't feel like going!" Mom yelled
"Jesus woman are you deaf? i said i don't feel like going" Nichole snapped back
"Listen you!, i've been very nice to you lately and i've been letting things slide. But you're not missing your first day of sophmore year! A lot can happen you know!" Mom scolded

This was becoming like a daily thing. Nichole always found a way to push mom's buttons. They always argue about the smallest thing. I didn't want to get in the way, it really wasn't my business anyways. But i just didn't like seeing Nichole do disinterest in school.

"Hey Nicky, i think you should listen to mom this time" I butted in.
"Hey, Sam, i think you're deaf too" Nichole shot back
"No need to be rude little sis, i just think you should take school more seriously" i replied taking a bite of my bacon
"All you guys do is talk about school! Jesus christ, so annoying" And with that Nichole stormed off to her room

Why was she like that? She was always angry. I never saw her genuinely smile or anything. I mean she was only sixteen. Aren't sixteen years old supposed to be enjoying life and stuff? She was so uptight and moody. I just rather not talk to her to avoid the drama.

After finishing breakfast, i gave mom another kiss on the cheek and left. I texted Liam once i got out of my house asking him if he minded picking me up. After a minute he replied back with a "Be right there"

When he arrived at my house i hopped in the passenger seat and together we drove to school.
"So Ms. Daniels, are you ready for your last year of highschool?" Liam smiled
"Hell yea I am! God i'm i the only one that's this exited?" I asked him
"I don't think so, I think Louis is a little bit more extited than you. And he doesn't even go to school!" Liam told me
"I guess he's happy his friends aren't going to be in highschool anymore" i told him
"Yea, i guess. He was the one that woke me up this morning" Liam replied, glacing over at me
"Where's Nicky??" he askeed
"Home, apparently she's not in the mood for school" i told him
"Guess you guys don't share the same enthusiasm for school" Liam said looking back at the road
"You guessed right my friend" I replied
"Hey, do you know when Raquel is coming back?" He suddenly asked
I couldn't help but smile. It was obvious he had a thing for her. All he did during the summer was talk about her and about how much he missed her
"Well, didn't she tell you?" i teased
"No" He replied looking straight at the road
"She came back yesterday" I told him "Wanna go pick her up?" i asked
His face immediately lit up and a small smile appeared on his lips
"Sure" he replied looking over at me
I smiled "What?" he asked me
"Nothing, it's just, um a little obvious" i said
"What's a little obvious?" he said driving the car towards Raquel's house
"That you have a thing for her" i said shifting my body to face him
"Well, who wouldn't have a thing for her?" He asked "I mean she's perfect and beautiful and one of a kind"
"Aw, Liam. Have you told her how you felt?" I asked him. It really made me happy that my friends liked each other. Just a couple of months ago Raquel told me she also had feelings for Liam. Now that he had confess this to me, there was no doubt in my mind that they were going to date.

I texted Raquel when we got to her house. Minutes later she emerged out of her house and ran happily to the car.
"Omgggg!!! Baby i missed you!" She said excitedly as she ran inside the car
"I missed you too" I replied turning around to give her a rather uncomfortable hug
"Heyyy Liam" She said after we were done hugging
"Hey there Raquel, how was your trip?" he nervously asked
"Oh you know, the usual. Saw a couple of hot guys, even got their numbers" She admited
I looked over to Liam. He looked like he had just swallowed a lemon. It was a pretty funny reaction. I couldn't help but laugh
"What are you laughing at??" Raquel shot back
"Nothing, nothing" i lied "I just truly missed you Raquel. It hasn't been the same without you here" I told her
"I know baby, i know" she replied

We arrived at school five minutes before class started. We all went to the office to get our new schedule. Like always, us three were placed in the same class.
"Ugh, i really don't want to have math so early in the morning" Liam complained
"Who does?" Raquel added
"I do!" i shot back
"Oh yea, i forgot. You're a math lover" Raquel shot me a dirty look
I couldn't help but giggle. I was the only one in the group that loved math.
"Hey, isn't that your friend? Who's the cutie next to him?" Raquel asked
I turned around and there was Nial, walking towards us with a kid i've never seen before. He was probably new. He was really good looking. Actually, i had never seen any other guy that good looking.
"I better go say hi, i don't think he would greet me if you guys are around" I told Liam and Raquel
"Okay, meet you in class" They told me and walked away

Nial was a 16 year old kid i tutored. He was really nice and funny but for some reason he was terrefied of my friends.
"Hey Nial" i said as i approched him
"Sam! How are you? how was your summer?" He asked embracing me into a hug
"It was good, you know. I hung out with Liam and Louis. The usual"
"Oh, well okay. This is Harry" he replied looking at the kid next to him
"Hey, I'm Samantha" i smiled
"Heyy" he smiled back
"Are you new here?" i asked Harry. He was breathtaking beautiful. His green eyes were locked into mines
"Yeah" He replied fixing his shirt collar
"Um, okay, well i hope you like the school" i told him
"Yea, i hope i do" he replied with a smirk
"Um, i'm having a party next Sunday, do you think you'll be able to come?" Nial nervously asked
"Yea sure, I would love to" i told him
"Um, would you mind not inviting your friends?" he asked timidly
"Why?" i asked, i was really wanted to know why he didn't like them
"I don't know, they're just older than me" he replied
"But, i'm also older than you" i told him
"Yea, but you're nice. They don't look that nice" he admitted
I giggled "My friends are nice Nial. But alright. I wont invite them" i assured him
"Sweet, well i'll be going now" He replied and walked away with Harry

I ran towards math class. I was already ten minutes late. The teacher was going to kill me. i thought to myself.
I slowly opened the door and got inside the class. All eyes where on me. I noticed Liam and Raquel sitting in the back.
"Ms. Daniels. Glad you could join us" Mr. Nelson said once i was inside the class
"Sorry i was late. I had to do something" i shyly said
"Well, if you donn't mind, can you take a seat now?" he asked. It was obvious he was annoyed

I walked to the back of the class and sat on an empty chair that was next to Raquel.
"So, who was he?" she whispered to me
"Who was who?" i asked taking out my notebook
"That cutie that was with Niel" she said
"It's Nial" i corrected her "And he's a new kid" i told her
"What grade?" she curiosly asked
"10" i glumly said
"Well, he's still cute. I would totally go for it" she replied
"Ew gross you could be his older sister" i whined
I've always had a problem when it came to dating someone younnger than me. I just din't think it was right. No matter how hot that person was.
"Well he's hot okay, and i don't know but he seemed like a right candidate for you" she told me
"What are you talking about, you saw the kid from afar!" i told her
"Yeah but i don't know, he's taller than you" she replied placing her hand on her face
"Shut up Raquel, you don't even know what you're talking about. " i told her
She giggled "Did you atleast think he was cute?" she asked
"Not at all" i lied.
