Chapter 2: Reese's pieces and Popcorn
Marissa's POV
I changed into my ‘never say never’ joplin shirt, I changed into my light blue board shorts, and I slipped on my black slippers. I then walked out of the bedroom and back downstairs and saw Niall in the kitchen looking through my cabinets. I chuckled softly.
“What are you looking for?” I asked in the doorway.
“a cup.”
“for what?”
“a drink.” he said slowly. I rolled my eyes and walked over to the fridge, I opened it.
“do you want a water, beer, or a juicebox?”
“why do you have a juicebox?” he asked me.
“Jo brought them over when she visited.” I said as I grabbed two waters.
“How is she?” he asked softly.
“Good, she is in Uni over in Ireland and she has a boyfriend named John.”
“She landed a date?” he asked jokingly. I laughed.
“Weird right?” I asked and laughed. I closed the fridge with my foot and threw a water at Niall.
“I didn’t want a water.”
“Well you got one.” he laughed.
“So are we making brownies or?” I heard him ask.
“Why do you want brownies?”
“cause yours are delicious!” I rolled my eyes.
“I don’t have any chocolate though.”
“Aww.” I laughed.
“Want to watch some Tv in the game room?” I asked him.
“Yea!”
I led him to the game room. Once we walked in he ran straight to the snack bar.

“You got nachos!” he yelled before grabbing the bag of chips to the side. He then made himself some nachos. I rolled my eyes and walked past him over to the xbox. I turned on my X-box before grabbing two controllers. I sat down on the black couch before Niall came over and sat down. He had a mouth full of nachos. I bursted out laughing. I missed seeing that. He looked at me while I layed back laughing.
“What?” he asked as he swallowed.
“Y-Y-Yo-” I said before laughing more. Once I stopped i looked over at him.
“You looked hilarious!” he smiled.
“So do you little red cheeks.” Niall said before pinching my cheeks. I blushed which caused them to get even more red. I slapped his hand away and smiled.
“What do you want to watch?” i asked as I turned on netfix.
“I don’t know.”
“How about..” I thought for a moment. “Batman?” I asked smirking.
“You always said that.” he said.
“Come on?” I asked softly.
“no. what else do you wanna watch?” he asked
“umm.. Monsters Inc?” I asked weirdly. A smile was on his face.
“Okay..” he said. I smiled and turned it on.
“i’ll go get the popcorn.” he said with a smile.
“ooh! Can you get me some reese’s pieces?” I asked with a smile. He nodded. I paused the movie and waited for him, he came back from the snack bar five minutes later,
“took me a bit to find the bowl, and the reese’s pieces.” I smiled.
“hey wanna try something good?” I asked him.
“what?” he asked. I took the reese’s pieces and opened them, I then poured them on the popcorn, he gasped. I held my hand up real quick then started mixing it a bit.
“Okay take a handful and try it, it’s really good.” I said. He reached his hand in the bowl and made sure he had a couple of the pieces, then he ate it. He smiled.
“that’s good.” he said. I smiled. i then turned the movie back on and I layed back i the grey recliner and enjoyed the movie.
