Once Upon A Time..

-Niall's POV-
-After school-

I quickly run home, crying. So no one will see. I run into my room, grab a paper and start writing a letter.

Dear Amanda,
I know we just broke up and you never want to see me again, but please at least accept my Christmas gifts for you. I just want you to know how much I still love you and that I will always care for you. I'm sorry this all has been happening. And.. I don't know what else to say, Amanda. Except Merry Christmas. And I love you to much to let you out of my heart.

I tape the letter to the present and I put a pretty bow on it.
I leave my house, wiping my tears so that Amanda wont see me cry.
I walk up to her door and knock.

Amanda opens the door, with puffy red eyes.
"Niall I told you at school today that-"
I cut her off
"I'm not here to take you back. No matter how much I want you back, I'm going to have to except the fact that... we're over. I just want to give you the Christmas present that.." I start to cry. I wipe my tears.
"Please just take it." I cover my eyes.

She took the gift, then looked at me. She looked at the gift, then back at me.
"Come." Amanda took my hand and brought me into her house.
She sits me down on the couch.
"What are you doing?" I ask her.
"I broke your heart.. But you still give me a gift? Niall.. I-I don't know what to say." Amanda says.
"I know what to say. I can't do it.." I say.
"Can't do what?" She asks.
"I can't be without you." I start to tear up.
She hugs me.
"Don't cry" She whispers.

I wipe my tears.
"Open your gift." I say. She nods. She reads the note first. Little tear drops from her eye fall onto her hand. She puts the note on the table, then carefully opens the gift. Then she gasps.
"A beautifully framed picture of us together, and a 2 person trip to Paris, for 2 months.." She says, smiling.
"I got all this, before we broke up. I actually thought we'd go together. But... you can take someone else now. Since we're no longer together." I feel tears fall again,
"I can't take it anymore!" Amanda yells, then places her lips on mine. I smile.

We pull apart.
"Amanda.." I blurt out.
"I hate seeing you cry." She smiles.
She cuddles beside me.
We tangle our legs together, and she rests her head on my shoulder. I wrap and arm around her waist. I flip through channels while she's on her phone.
"whatcha' doing?" I ask her.
"Just updating my status to 'In a relationship' because like, 25 minutes ago I updated it to 'single' but.. you know I guess we just made up." She smiles.
