Don't Lose Me|Sequel To You Found Me
Chapter Three
Niall blushed as I kissed him and I giggled as we got out of the car. I started to walked towards the cute little cottage but I felt a certain cute Irish boy tug on my hand. Once he got a hold of my hand, he gently pulled me into him with a breathtaking smile on his face. When my body met his, he leaned down and kissed me passionately. He held me close as we spent a moment whisked away in each other's kiss. Candee whispered to Liam that they should probably go and leave us to our celebrating. I pulled away after hearing her and I giggled. Candee blushed and kissed my cheek before wishing me a wonderful anniversary. Liam kissed me on my cheek before following after his gorgeous girlfriend, his whole world. When they drove off, I led Niall inside. Inside there was a kitchen, a small living room with a fireplace and two bedrooms with one nice bathroom. I set our stuff inside the cozier of the two bedrooms and asked Niall what he had in store for us to do next.
He said "Well first you're going to come here."
He held open his arms and I love his touch so much, I couldn't resist. When our bodies made contact, he kissed me again and it was oozing with so much love that I smiled into the kiss. I just couldn't help myself. It made Niall smile so it got a bit more difficult to kiss. We pulled away and he tucked a strand of hair behind my ear. It made me blush.
He said "You're so beautiful."
It caught me off guard and for a moment I wondered if he could actually see me with the way he was looking at me. I suddenly felt self conscious.
I asked quietly, "How do you know? You've never seen me before."
He said "I don't have to see you to know that you're mine and I love you and that's what makes you beautiful."
I tried to hold back my giggle at the reference.
It took him a second to catch on but when he did, he chuckled, "I mean it even if I did use that cheesy line."
Before I could respond, he kissed me again. His kisses are intoxicating. Niall, after he got his fill of kissing me for now, suggested we go and get some fresh air on the dock. We changed into our bathing suits in case we wanted to wade in the water a little bit. He looked so beautiful without his shirt on. I just wish he knew how beautiful he is to me. I know his insecurities come from his past experiences but I live to make sure that those stay in the past and are replaced by unforgettable wonderful memories I hope to have with Niall for many years to come. I want nothing more than to grow old with him whether he gets his sight back or not. We spent hours in the sun, playing in the water and the sand and just enjoying each other's company. As night was falling, Niall, with my assistance, got us a dinner together that we took out eat on the dock under the stars. He knows just how I like things. It never ceases to amaze me how he remembers every little fact I tell him about myself. Like the fact I love the woods, swimming, picnics and laying under the stars. When it got too chilly to stay outside, we went inside and built a fire that we curled up right in front of it while sharing a blanket. I took in Niall's amazingly comforting smell as I laid my head on his shoulder. His fingers were playing with mine under the blanket as we reminisced about the last two years together. Niall seemed very focused on playing with my fingers. He does this a lot but this time it felt different.
