Chapter 23
The girlfriends of One Direction (Eleanor, Perrie, and Candee) took me out all day and proceeded to have my hair, makeup and nails done. It was quite relaxing to say the least. It made me feel like a princess but the dress we got for my date only made me feel even more like a princess.
The dress certainly made me feel like a princess but it also made me ten times more curious to know what Niall had in store for us tonight. We were enjoying a nice dinner and were almost done eating when Candee's phone went off. By the huge smile on her face, I knew it was Liam.
When she hung up she looked at me with a twinkle in her eye, "Liam says that the prince can't be any longer without his princess so we must get going."
I am so excited to see what Niall has in store but I am also very nervous. Niall makes me feel so safe and comfortable but I still get butterflies at the mention of his name. I was driven to a destination where Niall was waiting for me. He was dressed in a tux and my heart pounded at how handsome he looked. He helped me out of the car after I thanked the girls and over to a horse drawn carriage much like the one Cinderella must have rode in. My breath was taken away by the romantic gesture. It just confirmed how much Niall means to me. He helped me into the carriage and wrapped his arm around me so that we were close to each other. I truly felt like Cinderella with Prince Charming riding ahead to a bright future that is leaving behind the past.
After a small moment of silence, I felt Niall's lips warm lips press to my temple, as he whispered, "You truly are a princess. You're beautiful, strong, compassionate and amazing and you're all mine. Forever. I'm always going to treat you like royalty because that is what you are to me."
I couldn't find words so I let my lips do the talking just in a different way. As our lips touched, I felt sparks from the top of my head to the tip of my toes just from the gentle touch of our lips. Niall's arm wrapped around my waist and lifted me onto his lap so I was sitting sideways in his arms while our lips moved together.
When we finally pulled away to catch our breath, I whispered, "So now will you tell me what we are doing and where we are going?"
He opened his mouth to speak but a cheeky smile spread on his face instead, "Nice try princess, I was so consumed by the thought of your kiss that I almost cracked but don't worry we are here anyways."
The carriage stopped and Niall helped me out of the carriage and this is what I saw:

"What's this?" I questioned.
"This is where we will grow old together while we raise our children, princess."
