You don't know you're beautiful

~ At the hospital ~
I sat and waited,
I did not want to leave her.
I Sat next to her all the time,
Angie was anesthetized,
I got up and went to the doctor, "What's going on? Since when do you need to connect an IV when someone breaks a leg?"
"Honey, your friend has much more than a broken leg, she has medical problems, good you came before it was getting worse ..."
"What does she have? She'll be okay?"
"She has a disease called HCL-Hairy cell leukemia."
”she has leukemia?! Oh my god. Can she die from it? "
"Yes, but our professional doctors can heal her... it will take time, but hopefully in a few months she`ll go out of here healthy” the doctor said...
Another doctor called her name,
Her name was Amelia.
Amelia was about to go, she looked at me.
She took a candy out of her pocket and gave it to me. “Don’t worry sweetie, shell be fine...” she smiled at me
She started walking towards the other doctor..
Then suddenly I heard my phone,
I took it out of my pocket,
It was Jenny…
I hesitated a bit, but then I answered.
“Harry? Hi.. listen, ’m sorry about earlier… where are you?”
“at the hospital wit-”
She didn`t let me finish before she shouted “WHAT?! What happened?!”
I was a little crying, “Angie, she broke her leg, and we went to the hospital
And the doctor said she did a blood test and discovered that she had leukemia .. Now she is under sedation and connected to an infusion .. "
I started to cry,
"Oh no," she said with guilt
"It's my fault. I should`ve not called her a bitch ... I'm coming."
A few minutes after, Jenny was there, Sweating and gasping.
I she hugged me,
She wanted me to explain everything. “now, what exactly happened?”
“Remember, when you shouted at me in the kitchen, she was peeking through the door.
But when you called her a whore and a Fucking Bitch she ran out crying..
She fell and broke her leg,
I called the ambulance and we came here
They took care of her but then the doctor said she did a blood test and discovered that she had leukemia ...”
Jenny was about to cry. “oh my god. No. it`s my fault. It`s all my fault. If I wasn`t here all this wouldn’t of happened.”
I hugged her, she was crying… “it`s not your fault babe..”
I bought her some Choco milk to calm her down
The Doctor came out, “She`s awake now, you can come to see her if you want..”
“ok sure.. i`m coming.” I stood up,
Jenny stood up too
She took my hand “I’m coming with you.”
I lifted my eyebrow “really? I thought you hated her…”
“yes but, I can`t. I must talk to her. It`s all because of me..”
“it`s not your fault! Without you the doctors wouldn`t of did her a blood test. You think it`s all your fault, but I’m thinking what would`ve happened If you weren’t there… maybe you weren’t so nice to her… but..”
She smiled,
We walked towards Angie`s room,
I opened the door , jenny was behind me. Angie didn’t see her…
we entered the room.
Angie looked at me
She didn’t see jenny…
“Harry…!” she smiled
I walked towards her,
Then jenny moved left
Now Angie could see her..
The smile on Angie`s face disappeared.. “Jennifer…”
“Angie..”
She went closer to Angie`s bed,
Angie looked at her.. “please. If you came here to say bad thing to me please go…” she looked sad
Jenny was in tears,
She ran to Angie`s bed and hugged her
Angie was shocked
She started crying
Jenny looked in her eyes,
“im sorry.. ok?“ she smiled at angie
Angie smiled back and Nodded her head “Ok”
I was sitting next to them.
We all smiled,
Even though were at the hospital…
