Summer Nights
Chapter Twenty-One
*Holly's P.O.V*
As soon as I shut the door behind me, all eyes were on me. Whispers and snickers floated through the cafeteria, and I lifted my head high and marched over to Melissa's table. They failed at smothering their giggles, and I glared at their evil-monkey leader.
"Care to chat with me?" I asked, shooting daggers at the blonde. She rolled her eyes and stood up.
"What do you want, freak?" She sneered. I felt everyone watching us, and I really couldn't care less.
"I want to set one thing straight. Just because I have friends that hate your guts doesn't mean that you can treat me like I fell out of a garbage truck. And, now I have something I need to take care of." It didn't matter if the smoothie I grabbed off the table was contaminated by their deadly germs; I could always wash my hands. I stomped back to her, and calmly poured the entire cup on Melissa's head. She shrieked, wiping her eyes.
"You, you FREAK!" She sputtered. I shrugged.
"Same to you. Enjoy your strawberry delight," I said, walking back to my table. The boys loudly cheered for me as I sat down.
"That's our Holly!" Louis whooped. I lightly punched his shoulder, deciding I wasn't really hungry anymore. Sliding my tray over to Niall, he gladly devoured my untouched meal.
"Aww!" The boys gushed. We rolled our eyes.
"Nice going, Holls." That same chilly feeling from this morning swept through me. Without turning around, I knew who it was.
"Bye Ryan," I flatly said, standing up. Talk about drama-filled day! I ironically thought as the brown-haired player smirked at me.
"That was hot," he stated. I rolled my eyes again, irritated with him.
"What part of "Get lost" do you not understand?" I asked, glaring at him. He shrugged, licking his lips. I was now willing to go to the principal's if it meant making this idiot go away.
"Eyes up, genius," I snapped. He just smirked, his green eyes trailing up and down my body.
"I was wondering if you'd like to go somewhere for a little while," he said, suggestively winking.
"I'd like to go nowhere with a disgusting pig like you," I sharply said. He chuckled, whispering one thing into my ear before leaving.
"That's what they all say."
