Despicable
I woke up with a headache. I didn't feel like waking up but i had no choice. Josh barged into my room again just like he had done yesterday.
"Get up, school starts in a few" he said taking the covers away from my face
"I swear, you're the only teenager that wakes up with this much energy" i grumpily said getting up from bed
"What can i say? I'm a morning person" Josh said shrugging his shoulders
"Are you mad at me?" he asked concered
"I don't know Josh" i told him walking towards my dresser
"What do you mean you don't know?" Josh asked walking behind me
"I don't know ok. It just bothered me that you came into my room talking to me in that way because of some girl you just met" i told him
"I'm sorry okay. She just came up to me yesterday and told me you did something to her, i didn't know what to believe since Louis also said the same thing" Josh said placing his hands on his head
"Whatever Josh, i'm not mad. Just don't believe everything you hear ok, because she was the one that offended me for no reason." i told him "Can you get out of my room now?" i asked him
"Yea, sure. Just don't be mad at me okay" He said smiling at me
"Alright fine" i told him. I really couldn't stay mad at him for long.
After taking a shower and getting dressed http://www.polyvore.com/moon_back/set?id=92852620 i went down stairs to the kitchen. After a quick breakfast Josh and I walked to school.
"So tonight, you're going to be there right?" Josh asked as we walked to school
"Well of course, it's my house too you know" i replied
"Well yea but i mean outside in the backyard" he answered
"Why the backyard? i thought you guys were just going to watch a movie" i said confused
"Well, not extcacly. The gang wants to drink so i told them it was okay to come to our house" Josh confessed
"Josh! why would you do that?? why can't you guys drink at someone elses house?" i asked him. I was alarmed by his decison
"Well Louis asked if it was alright if they could come to my house and i said it sure" he said nonchalantly
"You shouldn't have ok! mom is going to kill you" i warned him
"Mom is going to visit grandma today" Josh told me
"She is?" i asked him
"Yeah, grandma call this morning asking mom to come" Josh replied
"Shit, well i'm going with her" i told him
There was no way i was going to be staying in a house with them.
The rest of the walk was quite. When we got to school Josh spotted Louis and his gand and he immidiatly ran towards them. I could tell he was really liking his new friends. I rolled my eyes and kept walking towards the school. Before getting to the entrance firm hands grabbed my shoulders.
"Hey Rachel" Joshua said making me jump
"Oh shit you scared me" i said turning around to face him
"Didn't mean to" He said looking at me "Why are you alone?" he asked
"Ah well i just got to school" i replied looking down at my shoes
"Walk with me then" he said placing his arm around my shoulder
It was weird walking with him. He didn't talk, all he did was look at me and smile.
"What class you got?" he asked me when we got into the semi empty hallway
"Um, let me check" i said pulling out a folded paper out of my pocket
"English" i said after looking at the shceduel
"I'll walk you there" He said with a smile
I smiled back.
We walked into the empty classroom and i immidiantly went to the back. Joshua sat on the empty seat beside me.
"So, you're not planning of going to class" i asked him while i put my stuff on the table
"Its too early" he said putting his legs on the table
"Are you free today?" he asked
"I'm always free" i replied looking at him
"Nice, i like that" he smiled
"Why you asked?" i asked him
"Because i wanted to hang out with you today" he told me
"Realy? why" i asked, i was actually surprise he wanted to hang out with me
"Well, you're really fun to talk to, and you're not like all the girls from here. You're chill" he said taking his feet of the desk
"Thanks" i replied blushing slightly "Sure, i'll hang out with you"
"Sweet" he replied leaning closer to me
Louis POV
"Come on Louis, walk me to class" Eleanor whined
"Can you just walk by yourself?" i asked her
"No, you need to walk me" she insited
"Where are the girls?" i asked her looking around the hallway
"Probably outside. Come on Louis" She grabbed me by the arm and pulled me away from my locker
This girl was seriously annoying at times. She wans''t always like this though. I met her through Harry by the way. He brought her to our lunch table one day during seventh grade. Ever since then, she's been a part of the gang. Back then she was like one of the guys. She would always talk about football with us and joke around. But ever since we've got to high school she turned clingy and annoying and she's always complaining. It bugs me a lot but there's nothing i could do about it.
"Are we really hanging out at Josh house today?" she asked as we approached the room
"Yea" i replied
"Why? i don't want to go there" she complained
"Then don't go El, no one is forcing you" i told her
She looked hurt. I sighed
"Come on, it will be fun okay. I doubt she'll be there" i told her putting my arm around her shoulder
Her face lit up a little.
"Okay, as long as i don't see her" she said opening the classroom door
And there she was. Rachel. Sitting in the back of the classroom next to Joshua. That asshole. What the hell was he doing there. My hand immidiatly turned into a fist.
"What are you doing here?" Eleanor snapped
"Are you talking to me, princess?" Joshua asked standing up from his seat
"Yes, and don't call me princess" Eleanor told him.
"Well, i could call you whatever i want, and i was just here, hanging out with my friend" He said looking back at Rachel
She looked confused but also beautiful. But why was she with that asshole. It just made my blood boiled for some weird reason
"hah, i figured. Trash usually sticks together" I heard Eleanor say to Joshua
"Listen bitch! don't think i won't mess you up" Joshua said getting closer to Eleanor
"Hey bastard, how about you pick on someone your own size" I said stepping in front of Eleanor
By this time Rachel was already on her feet behind Joshua. Probably to hold him back if anything were to go down
"I think it's better if we get out of here" She whispered to him
"You don't need to be afraid of these idiots" Joshua said turning away to face her
As soon as he turned around i punched him straight in the face
"You sonofabitch!" he yelled and lauched forward
I heard Eleanor shriek
"AH, get off him you animal" I heard her say to Joshua
We were both rolling around the floor, punching each other and trying to get on our feet.
"Can you two please stop!!!" I heard Rachel scream
Instantly i stopped what i was doing and surprisingly so did Joshua. Why did i stop? i wondered. I had never stopped fighting a person just because someone had told me to. What the hell was wrong with me. I thought to myself
I saw Joshua get up from the floor. He had a bloody nose and a black and blue on his left cheek. I wondered how i looked
"Louis are you okay" Eleanor said getting down on the floor next to me
"I'm fine" i told her, pushing her hand away from my face
I looked up at Rachel. She was too busy looking at Joshua's injuries to notice me.
"Come, on let's take you to the nurse" She told Joshua
And with that, she left the room with him
"Damn it!" i said punching the floor
Eleanor flinched
"What's wrong" she asked, panick in her voice
"I hate that bastard!" i replied. I slowly got up from the floor. My side was a little sore but i shook it off. I touched my lips and noticed that they were bleeding.
"Let's go to the bathroom" Eleanor said
I followed her out of the class.
"You want to skip school?" i found myself asking her
"Huh, us too or the whole gang?" she asked
"Just the two of us" i replied. I didn't want to be around people. I was annoyed. All i wanted to do was smoke a couple of cigs and drink some beer
Eleanor and i left the school and got in my car. We drove to my house which was of course, empty.
"You're mom is still on that business trip?" she asked as we got out of the car
"Yea" i said walking towards my house. I took the keys out of my pocket and opened the door. A familiar scent welcomed me home.
Rachel's POV
It was already lunch time. I was static that the day was almost over. After the little incident this morning i met up with Carol. After telling her what had happened she imidiatly ran to the nurse room to check on Joshua.
"He's an animal" Carol said for like the fifth time
"Yeah i guess" i replied. She's been talking about him none stop. I sort of didn't want to talk about that despicable person. Not after what he did to my friend.
I looked over at their table, expecting to see him and Eleanor but they weren't there
"What are you looking at?" Carol asked me
I turned around to face her "Ah, looking for my brother" i lied
"He seem's to be really good friends with them" she said
"Yeah, can you believe they're all going to my house today" i sighed
"What!" Carol said alarmed
"Yea my stupid brother brother invited them" i rolled my eyes
I glanced back at the table. Still no sign of Louis and Eleanor. I was curios to know where they were. I was also wondering if he was okay.
"Hey, i wonder where Louis and Eleanor are" I asked Carol
"Probably hooking up" Carol replied. That answer hit me like a ton of bricks for some reason. It just made me uncomfortable and sad. I had no idea why thought and it scared me.
