Chapter 12
*MYAS POV*
I woke up to hard raindrops outside the window..It looked beautiful..I missed London
I woke up in Liams bed..did he carry me over here? I remember falling asleep on the couch though.
Anyways if he did or didnt, it didnt matter i slept like a baby last night! My bags were in the room too. So i went and put on a green v-line shirt, some shorts and my black converse. I dress up really simple. I dont like to be the center of attention.
I brushed my hair out and brushed my teeth. Then i walked down to see Liam still sleeping. So i decided to make us breakfeast
I guess the smell of pancakes and eggs woke up Li because the first thing he did was walk to into the kitchen...
"Mmm smells good!! Morning!" He said exitedly
"Morning!!" i said with smiling from ear to ear
I guess it was cool spending time with him..I mean he is my brother...Wow thats weird to say still.
"So what you making??" He said all cheerful
"Well i found some pancake mix and eggs in the fridge so i decided to make pancake and eggs!" i giggled
"Aww yeah! This is gna be goooooood" He said picking at a pancake that was already done
"No Liam!! Im not done making the eggs!! So wait !"
"Okay mum!!! What do you need me to do?"
"Really Mum??" I giggled "And you can pour Orange Juice "
"Okay do you want a glass cup or plastic?"
"I dont care either is fine!"
He poured the juice and finished just in time.
I served the eggs and pancakes.
"Oh my god Mya!!!"
"What !!" i giggled
"This food is delicious!! I didnt know you could cook!!"
"Well my mum was a great cook and she loved too cook but Steve didnt want her for her cooking..he wanted her for something else..." I bowed my head down in sadness
"Look Mya Im sorry for all the horrible things he did to your mum and you but at least he has stopped now.." He tried to comfort me..I came to realize Liam really is trying to be a good brother to me and he is a good one.!
"I just wish it didnt end like this you know?"
"Yeah if i were you i dont know what i would do..But remember people are here for you okay?"
"Okay thanks........Bro!" i smiled at him
He smiled back "Welcome sis!"
*LIAMS POV*
Okay so Mya and I are becoming closer by the minute
She told me some stories of when she was little..Sadly she didnt have any good memories..but when i thought all she had was a depressing childhood she finally started saying something nice.
"Yeah this like my only good memorie of my childhood..My mom and I went to the park..Steve had finally let us go somewhere without him..She took a ball and everything. But that day was so special to me cz i actually saw a happy side to my mom.." She started getting teary but she continued
"It was a sunny day and she said if i wanted to play ball i said yeah sure! So we played for a little and then i through the ball super high and we both ran to catch it i bumped into her stomach but it was a hard hit..We fell down laughing and then swe layed there for a while..She then asked me if i saw any shapes in the sky and she pointed out a bunny to me..We both laughed and layed there she was messing with my hair and then sadly the day had to be over..." She smiled while happy and sad tears came out
"Mya see you have good memory to hold onto about her!"
"Liam i was 9 when this happened..I feel like soon I will forget about her and that memory..I just cant make out why she would do this and and.." She couldnt finish..she bursted into tears so i went by her side and hugged her
I walked her over to the couch "Mya stop crying..Its hard..i know..actually o dont know how it feels to lose my mother but i have lost a pet..i know its very different but its something! I remember i used to go to its little grave in the yard..his name was max and he was a dog..anyways i used to go back there everyday and talk to him like he could hear me..But deep down inside i knew he was dead but he always lived in my heart.."
"Wow you really are the nice one..How did max die?"
"He fell asleep and never woke up" I said while still having my arm around her
"Oh Im sorry.."
"Its okay it was many years ago..but my point is Your mom will always live in your heart and wont be forgotten ever!"
"Im trusting you Liam..i hope she does live in my heart and that i never forget her.." I smiled at her
"You wont"
We just sat there for a little until she calmed down and finally said
"Can we talk to your dad today.?"
"You mean our dad?" i said with a smile
"Right right our dad!! " She said while smiling
"Yes i can text him right now if you would like?" I asked her politely
"Yes please!" She said exitedly
"Okay i will let me go grab my phone" I said while getting up
"Umm Liam what time is it?" She asked me
"Its 11:30am"
"Oh okay !!" She said with a side smile
So i grabbed my phone and texted my dad
To Dad: Hey dad ! Hows it going?
From Dad: Hey Liam! So good to hear from you!!! And its going great what about you??
To Dad: Its going good just got back into Londom and wanted to see if i could meet up with YOU!
From Dad: Sure what going on?
To Dad: Oh nothing i just want you to meet a friend of mine..
From Dad: Is she girl???
Wow My dad is too funny!!
To Dad: Yes its a girl but nothing like that i swear!! She like a sister to me!!
From Dad: Okay okay ! We can meet at the little cafe by your house!
To Dad: Great 2ish sound good?
From Dad: Yup great see you later!
I showed all the messages to Mya
"You would Liam!!" She said and giggled at the same time
"I would what?" I asked confused
"You would say Im likee your sister!!" She laughed..Her laugh was similar to my dads! Woow haha
"Yes i would!! You know Mya your laugh is similar to our dads!"
"Oh my god really?? i always wondered where my laugh came from!" She said grinning from ear to ear
"Well now you know!!!!"
"Okay Liam go get ready!!" She ordered me!!
"Noo Im to lazy" We both laughed
"Cmon you lazy bum! We need to meet hour dad.."
"..At TWO" i helled up two fingers while finishing her sentence off
"Exactly Im ready and your not!!" She said while laughing
"All i need to do is shower and put my clothes on! That takes me like 45 minutes!" I complained and gave her the puppy dog eyes
"Fine! I guess you dont need too right now!!" She finally gave in.
"Yess!!! Now lets watch some Tv!"I said while turning the Tv on
"Okay..Can we watch wipeout thats my favorite show.." Now she gave me the puppy dog eyes..Hmmm well played
"Dont give me that face!!!" She only grew her eyes bigger!
"Okay fine ..well played Mya well played!" I said while slightly punching her arm.
Ahh at last i found that stupid little wipeout show..I only call it stupid because it took me half an hour to find it..I actually like the show its funny
"FINALLY!! YOU FOUND IT!!" Mya yelled excitedly!!
"Yes yes i did!You can thank you big bro with a hug!!" I said while opening my arms up.
"Oh alright!!" She leaned in and hugged me
I only got through one wipeout episode before Mya said..
"Okay its 1 you should go get ready!"
"Yes mother!!" I said to sound annoyed!
I went and showered
i got dressed and wore a white shirt and some black skinny jeans and my black converse.Ha i look good.
I walked downstair..
"Okay mum Im ready!!"
"Finally it took you forever!!"
"Mhm what time is it???" I said looking at my wrist but i had no watch .. i was just teasing her
"Its 1:50!! Oh my god we need to leave!!"
"Seeeeee I was ready on time!!!"
"Okay whatever! Can we go now?"
"Yeah yeah sure!!"
I started walking and i saw Mya going towards my car..i started to laugh
"What??" i heard her yelling at me
"Nothing its just the cafe is right around the corner we can walk there!!"
"Oh my bad.." I saw her blush from embarrassment.
We started walking to the cafe and as soon as we got there i noticed our dad car
I opened the door for Mya "Ladies first."
"Why thank you" She said all properly and we started to laugh
I spotted my dad in one of the booths..So I waved at him and he waved back..We walked over to his table
"Im nervous"Mya whispered to me
"Everything is going to be just fine" i whispered back to her..
We got to his table and he got up to greet us.
"Heyy dad" I said and i hugged him
"Hey Liam!"
"Dad this is Mya..Mya this Dad." i introduced them once i saw them together I could see the resemblance
"Hi Da- Mr.Payne." I giggled because she was about to call him dad!
"Hello Mya Its nice to meet you!" he stuck his hand out so they can shake hands
"Same to you Ive heard so much about you!" She said while smiling
"Yeah well lets sit down" I interrupted so things wouldnt get awkward
We talked about stuff that we have been doing..My dad works in a factory ..Hes the manager..Then i talked about how great the tour was and he said he was proud of me
Okay enough talk about nothing..We needed to get to the bottom of this
"Dad i have a question.." I saw Myas eyes shot wide open
"Yes what is it?"
"Mya do you want to tell him or do want me to tell him?"
"You tell him please.." i could tell she was nervous
"Okay well dad..Did you know and Emily Foster?" His eyes shot wide open
"Why do you ask?" He said calmly while taking a sip of his tea..
I handed him the letter..,"Read it!"
He started reading it..
