Chapter 14
**Louis POV**
As soon as Niall went down I grabbed my phone, and walked out of the house. I just needed time to think about everything that has been going on recently. i mean seriously, Ruby turns up, Har- He almost falls head over heels for her, Niall turns up, almost kills Him and then Niall does this big overeation to something completely unknown. Ugh!! I just couldn't take it. I had been walking around for about three hours now and I knew I needed to go home- the others would be worried sick. No they won't, they'll be too busy fussing over Niall. I decieded I'd spend the night at a local hotel or in my car. I didn't feel like going home to them. I switched off my phone and booked a single room for tonight. I caught the elevator and rode up to the 7th floor. Okay, room 326... 323, 324, 326! I unlocked the door and flopped on the bed. I sighed. "This is going to be a long night", I muttered to no-one in particular. I slowly closed my eyes and the darkness finally took over me.
--Next Morning--
I groaned and opened my eyes. I wanted to check the time so i turned on my phone- it vibrated for 5 minutes flat. I picked it up. 53 missed calls, 143 new messages. From the boys. "Mostly Harry", I thought out loud. I winced, it's been awhile since I said his name without yelling at him. I deeply sighed and decieded it was time to return home- well back to Zayn, so they know I'm okay. I pulled up outside the house and lightly knock on the door. It was thrown open by Liam, who immediatly saw me and his mouth fell open. "You little prick!", he yelled. "Do you have any idea how much stress you've put us all in?", Niall continued, walking up behind him."I couldn't eat, mate. i couldn't eat", he said, pretending to crying and using an overeating drama performance. "Oh, grow a pair", I chuckled, walking passed him. Harry looked at me and I stopped dead in my tracks. He had been crying, this much was obvious. His eyes were puffy and red. "Where were you?", he whispered, close to tears. "I-I don't know, I just", I tried to explain. "I thought you were dead, Lou", he whispered. I immediatly felt guilty and my eyes started to swell. I walked up to him and enclosed him in a tight hug. I closed my eyes and took in his scent. I wrapped his arms around me tightly and sighed, "I'm sorry", I pleaded. "I't okay, just...", he pulled me out of the hug, "Never, ever, ever do that to me again", he said firmly. "I promise", I comfirmed.
**Harry POV**
I heard the front door crash open and it gave me a shock. My eyes still stung from crying. "You little prick!", I heard Liam say. "Do you have any idea how much stress you've put us all in?", Niall said. Okay, that had to be Louis at the door. I saw him and my heart stung. He looked at me and his mouth gaped open.
About two hours of sitting on the couch watching movies later, Ruby walked in a I immediatly noticed that everyone had a look of concern on their faces. All eccept Louis of course, he was clueless about her... um... condition. "What's going on?", Louis asked. "Louis.. I'm... pregnant", Ruby said. His jaw dropped and his face went pale. He looked at me and I felt a stinging pain on my face. He had punched me square in the jaw. "Argghhh", I groaned. "No, No, Louis it's not what you think", I moaned as he punched me again. "Louis stop! It's my baby, not Harry's", Niall yelled. Louis gasped and ran to me. "I-I'm s-so s-sorry!!", he gushed. I-I just thought--. Oh my god, I feel so stupid", Louis stuttered. Zayn and Liam burst out laughing. "HAHAHA, nice right hook, Louis", Liam laughed. Zayn was on the floor, rolling around holding his sides. "He thought-- and then he-- But then he realised-- ahahahahahaha", he gasped in between laughing. "Shut up you total dicks", I groaned at them. "Harry, I'm sorry", Louis said. "It's okay, just.. ow", I said. Louis turned to Niall. "You guys had sex? When?", he asked. Niall blushed and Ruby chuckled. "At the Christmas party. You guys took him there to get his mind of what I did", she turned to Niall, "And I am seriously, very sorry for that", she turned back to Louis, "but when we both got drunk.. well, you can guess the rest", she explained. "I think I'll pass", I chuckled, now off the ground and at Louis' side. Zayn and Liam had shut up now and were now listening with eagerness. "How far along are you?", Zayn asked. "Two and a bit months", Ruby replied. "So... pretty soon...", he positioned his hands further away from his stomach and puffed out his cheeks. Liam chuckled and ruby stuck he tongue out at him. "Can I?", I asked. "Sure", Ruby said. I gently put my hand on her slight baby bump and gasped. I took my hand away and smiled. "I still have to have an ultrasound, to make sure it's okay", she turned to Niall, "Are you coming with me", she asked, staring into his eyes. "Wouldn't miss it for the world", he replied. She grinned and he leaned down to her height. He placed a soft kiss on her lips and I winced. Zayn smiled softly and Louis had a look of disgust on his face. I gave him a questioning look but before he could answer Liam interupted. "Okay guys, that's enough of that grossness", Liam said and they pulled apart. "Sorry", Niall muttered, and grabbed Ruby's hand. So here she was, my park mystery girl, with my best friend. Pregnant. Then it hit me. "OH MY GAWD!!! I ALMOST CLOBBERED YOU AT THE PARK, I COULD HAVE HURT THE BABY!", I panicked. Ruby's reaction was shocked, but then it softened. "Like I said: You're not that strong", she said gently and winked at me. Niall's grip on her hand visualy tightened and he gave me a look that said: She's mine. I nodded at Niall and gave him a reassuring look. Ruby wasn't mine, she's off limits, and I knew it. Besides, I got my own little mystery to take care of. I looked at Louis and smiled. He returned it.

Okay guys there's the plot twist, as promised. Yay!! She's pregnant. Niall and Ruby are together- but what did Ruby do to Niall in the first place to make them break up? What did she do?
