Alyssa's P.O.V.
Oh my fucking god, Madi was right. Without anyone knowing, I ran outside, knowing that zombies could approach at any minute. I was running and looking everywhere, then I heard footsteps behind me. I whipped my head back while running to see Zayn following me. "Babe, wait!' He called out.

I shook my head no and began to look EVERYWHERE. I was outside for a good hour looking with Zayn helping me and convincing me to go back. "No Zayn! I'm gonna look for that dog!"

I found a ditch and off about 20 yards away, there were zombies coming. In the ditch, I saw a small figure laying limply in the ditch. "ChiChi!" I screamed.

I ran to her and kneeled down so my face was next to hers. Her eyes were open and she was breathing but very lightly. I looked at her and saw she had a cut on the side of her stomach. If it was a zombie that hurt her, she would be dead by now, so she must've cut herself on something. "C'mon baby girl." I whispered while picking her up carefully, trying not to harm her.

I ran back to the house with Zayn and ChiChi, zombies were inspecting the ditch. We arrived back at the house and barged inside, locking all of the doors and windows. "You guys found her!" Niall exclaimed.

I held her closer and headed quickly into the kitchen near the first aid supplies. "Yeah, but she has a cut. I need to help her."

I pulled a large bandage out of the cabinet and set ChiChi on the counter. Madi ran up to me, trying to help. "Madi, put some water over the cut, it will help it." Madi nodded and started to put her hands in gloves and rinsed them.

I leaned next to ChiChi's ear and said "I know this might hurt but it's gonna help, I promise." Madi placed her wet glove on ChiChi's cut and she barked lightly.

"It's okay ChiChi." Madi cooed and she seemed to calm down. After we wiped the cut off, I placed the bandage over the cut, so it would start to heal. ChiChi was hurt badly, so I decided I would carry her for most of the night.

I took her to the couch with me and sat down next to Zayn, cuddling into his chest.

He pet ChiChi's small head and took her from my hands. "I hope she'll be okay." I said to Zayn, a tear sliding down my cheek.

Zayn wrapped his free arm around me and held me closer. "Baby please don't cry, it pains me to see the person I love cry."

His words made me feel comforted so I tried my best to stop the tears from falling.

Time passes through the uneventful night and Zayn and I decided to head to our bedroom. I made a bowl of water, a bowl of food and some toys and a small dog bed for ChiChi.

We entered the room and I sat down on the floor, placing all of ChiChi's food next to our bed. I took a toy and her small bed and put it atop of our bed, near the end.

I placed her carefully on the bed and she slowly fell asleep. Probably because of the pain she was in. I laid down next to Zayn and tried to snuffle with his sleeping body. I kissed his forehead before going to sleep.

~The Next Morning~

I woke up to Zayn's snoring. I chuckled and walked over to the closet in our room. Surprisingly, there were many clothes. I picked an outfit that was cute but good for action. http://www.polyvore.com/cgi/set?id=96190325

The bathroom our room had had makeup and hair supplies so I though, "Why not look good?"

I shook Zayn's shoulder, trying to wake him. I didn't want to wake his beautiful sleeping face, but I wanted him to. He woke up and rubbed his eyes. "Morning Zayn." I greeted him.

"Morning babe." His husky voice replied. I saw that ChiChi was already awake, so I took off her bandage. The cut looked better and she seemed to be acting fine.

I carried her, just to make sure she was okay, and I led Zayn downstairs. I sat that Madi and Liam were awake already, playing a card game.

"What'cha playing?" I asked curiously, sitting on the couch and watching them.

Liam looked over at me and replied "Some game Madi introduced to me, called Spit. Apparently, she is somehow winning."

I laughed, remembering this game from our childhood. Madi used to beat me at it ALL the time. I had only beat her like 2 or 3 times. "Haha, I recall that game."

After they finished, Madi ended up beating Liam every time. I heard footsteps and saw Louis and Harry walk down the stairs.

"Good morning." The said in sync. I wonder why Niall wasn't up, he was usually the first one up out of all of us.

"Did you guys pass by Niall and Madi's room?" I asked the boys.

Louis shook his head no and I went upstairs, giving Zayn to ChiChi. I hope Niall was okay, this wasn't normal.

I barged into his room to see he was perfectly fine. I sighed to myself. "Oh good." I murmured and tried to wake him up.

He slowly open his eyes, sitting up as he saw my face. "Eh, good morning Alyssa." He started.

"Good morning." I replied with a smile. "You slept in, everyone else is up already and it's 10:30."

Niall looked shocked and questioned "Really?"

"Yup." I said.

He ran out of the room and went downstairs. I saw him head over to Madi and kiss her on the cheek. "Hi Niall." She welcomed him.

He just smiled and took the seat next to her, staring into her eyes. I grinned at their romance and happiness and I sat inbetween Louis and Zayn.

"You guys want to go outside and look for zombies?" Harry asked from the other side of the room.

"Yeah sure." Everyone responded.

We went into the kitchen, where we kept all of our weapons. Everyone took a large gun, pistol, and 2 knifes. Yes, we had that much stuff.

I boarded all of the windows and took ChiChi back upstairs, putting her in my room.

We all nodded and headed outside.
