More Than Words
Chapter 1
My eyes fly open to the sound of my alarm. I jump up and skip over to my window to check the weather. Yep sunny as can be! Today was the day I got to meet Michael Buble! Him and my mom go way back! I forget how they met but they’ve been friends ever since.
“Lorall!” My mom walked into my room not even knocking first. I loved her but seriously in seventeen girls otta have some space. But I let it slide since she was introducing me to a celebrity today. I know I'm shallow I don’t care!
“Get ready were meeting Mike and Luisana in an hour.” She walked back out.
I check my phone and see a message from my dad. He’s in the army and over seas so I don’t really get to see him that much but we are still really close. My mom and him divorced when I was three but still remain good friends so I guess Im privileged with that.
I shower and change as quick as I can. I changed into my new dress, my favorite heels, and the bracelet my parents got me for Christmas ( http://www.polyvore.com/lorals_chapter/set?id=76655480 ) and just let my red hair fall and do whatever it wanted to. I love fashion if I could I would be a stylist but my true passion is acting. I had the look and the talent at least that what I was told by agents and people. My parents told me they would support me the whole way but I had to graduate first and guess what! As of three weeks ago I am a graduated woman! So I’m going to stay in LA with a cousin for the summer to get started. And yes I am pumped!
I never got to meet him, Michael, because every time he was in Texas I was either hanging out with my dad or with my dad overseas but finally after seventeen years I get to meet him. Apparently I saw him a few times when I was younger but that was like till I was three so I can't remember a damn thing.
I run downstairs and walk into the kitchen. My mom was doing the dishes. I sat down and scarfed down my eggs and poured the orange juice down my throat.
“Ready!” I say standing up and putting the dish in the sink. My mom looks at me and then the plate obviously telling me to clean it. I hurry up and wash it burning my hand in the process from the hot water. I get done and grab my purse and walk to the door with my mom behind me.
“I am so excited!” I said once we got into the car.
“Calm down you’ve met him already.” I roll my eyes and plug in my music. I was about a half hour ride to his concert. I put on some Ed Sheeran his music always distracts me and I always imagine how I would act in his music videos for his songs. Seven songs later my mom pulls into a parking lot.
“We are here.” My mom said while parking the car right in front. She makes a phone call while i get out and stretch my legs. I love long car rides but there horrible for my legs. I look at the huge building in front of me and see some workers walking around.
“Hey!” I look at the doors and see two people walking towards us. My mom steps out and smiles. She walks towards the the couple with open arms. I stand behind her as they say their hellos and hug. My mom stepped to the right so that i could be involved. Michael saw my and smiled.
“Lorall?!” He said as he pulled me into a hug. I obviously returned the favor. His wife hugged me too. “Last time I saw you, you were hardly a foot tall now you have to be at least five in a half! ”
“Yeah right on actually.” I said with a laugh.
We all went to lunch and talked. My mom got a call from her boyfriend Jaymes and had to go outside so I was left lone with them which was okay because we were already close.
“So Lorall what is it that you want to do now that your out of school?” Luisana asked me before she took a sip of her water.
“Oh um well I really want to do acting. I did plays and stuff like that in school and I love it. I’m actually going to LA this summer to pursue it.” I said with confidence. I said this about ten times to my family members and agents.
“Oh yeah your mom told me how about that. I can make some call if you want I know people.” Michael said. This almost made me jump out of my seat.
“Yes! Thank you! Please! Yes!” I said they both smiled and laughed at my enthusiasm.
“Okay cool Ill make some calls.” My mom walked back in and sat down but grabbed her coat and purse. “I hate to say this but we have to be leaving Jason is back for the day and want to see us.” My dad must have met up with Jaymes yep they’re friends too, i love my family.
“Aww okay I should see dad before I leave.” I said while grabbing for my phone but my screen lite up with a text showing my background. I didn’t think about it so I just answered it. It was my dad confirming diner tonight.
“So uh you like One Direction?” Michael asks. I guess he saw my screen. It was a picture of the boys at one of their concerts.
“Um do I look like a teenage girl?” I ask him he smile and nods.
“Who’s your favorite?” He asks.
“I guess Niall he’s cute and his eyes make me smile.” It was cheesy but Im a girl and I get to act like this. “Okay.” He nods and stand up while taking my mom and I in for a hug. We said our good byes and exchanged number.
“See you later!” I said as I waved my hand out the window towards their car.
“That was fun.” I said as I plugged in my phone and played more music. I got a twitter notification. Michael had posted a picture of us with the caption ” Had fun catching up with @lorallsummer . She’s so adorable. You guys will all be seeing her soon, she’s fantastic. Oh and p.s @NiallOfficial she said your eyes make her smile. Just putting that out there.” I smile and hope that Niall Horan doesn’t see that its kind of embarrassing.
NIALL’S POV
I was laying down in my hotel room waiting for Liam to return with the food when I saw Michael Buble tweeted me! It was a picture of him a red head. A really pretty red head actually. It said that she said my eyes make her smile. Her name is Lorall Summer, nice, I will be following you. I hear the door open and smell food! The boys come walking in with bags.
“Gimme gimme!” I say when the throw me one. I don’t know where they went but they brought me back a burger and chips so Im okay with it.
“Hey Niall.” I look up and see Louis looking at his phone. “Why is ‘Niall and Lorall’ trending and who is she?” Wow it had been ten minutes and the public already got a hold of it.
“Or he, we don’t judge.” Zayn said from the couch.
“Uh well SHE is a friend of Michael Bubles and he posted a picture of him and her and in it he said that she liked my eyes.” I shrugged and bite into my burger.
“WOW. Niall this girl is hot!” Louis said. Guess he saw the picture. The other boys gathered around his phone to look.
“Yeah man, she’s a babe.” Zayn said. He walked over to me and patted me on the back.
“You should tweet her.” Liam said from the table by the window.
“You think? I don’t want to sound creepy.” I brought up twitter and started to type but kept erasing it. “Come on dude its twitter not her bedroom window.” Harry said while laying on his bed. I think of something perfect and tweet it. I’m not weird I swear … I think.
LORALL’S POV
We just got home when I look at my phone and saw someone had tweeted me. It said “@lorallsummer your eyes make me smile too.” It was from Niall Horan
