In the park
Marissa's P.O.V.
Today has been a good day! They boys decided to take us to the park. Luckily, I remembered to bring my camera, last time I forgot it and didn't get to take pictures of Lucy and Terrence attempting to climb a tree. Well right now I'm sitting under that huge Oak, that Jack and I found when we were seven. This is our special spot....
"Hey Marissa, Ms.Collins call and wants us back." Jack said interrupting my thoughts.
"One minute." I signed, closing my diary.
After collecting my camera, phone and diary, I followed the footpath covered in decades worth of moss to the girls and guys. As we were walking past the pond, we noticed a golf cart coming straight at us.
"Marissa!" A crackly male voice called.
"Oh crap!" I quickly signed to Jack.
"Its Zachary, A.K.A 'The COOLEST Kid in School!"
Zach has been bulling me since fourth grade so about four years. I guess it's fairly easy to pick on the shy, nerdy, mute kid who also happens to be an orphan.

"Jack am I hallucinating, or is Oscar the Grouch really standing in front of me?" I signed
" No Marissa, your not hallucinating. Oscar the Grouch is really standing in front of us!" Jack exclaimed with a wide smirk across his face.
"Wanna say that to my face, Almighty one?" Zach exclaimed sarcastically.
" Sure! But let me help u by spelling it out for you." I signed and Jack translated
" Y-o-u a-r-e a l-o-s-e-r, w-h-o d-o-s-e-n-t u-n-d-e-r-s-t-a-n-d a w-o-r-d I a-m s-a-y-I-n-g. Btw nice unicorn boxers!" I signed and tried to contain my laughter.
"What did the ugliest creature know to man say?!" Said an annoyed Zach
"She called you a loser who doesn't understand a word she is saying." Answered Jake
" hmh that's all. Wow duh wittle, shy, unwanted and or loved, nerdy orphan thinks that was a comeback!" he laughed along with his posse.
"She also said that she likes your unicorn briefs!" Drew responded while Jake, Jack, Lucy, Terrence, Aron, Drew, and I all started Rofling.
He and his whole posse looked down while I snapped a picture of his face. He was mortified as his posse joined us in laughter. After pulling up his pants he spoke.
"Who gave the little ***** whose mommy took one look at and died due to her ugliness, permission to speak?!" He sneered.
I turned to find a sobbing Drew clutching on to Lucy.
"What the **** did you say to her!?" I signed in pure rage.
Jack translated and everyone stared at the girl worse never once cuss in her whole life. I ripped out my earring and stormed over to Zach. Before he even had time to react I slapped him.
"What the **** was that Marissa you slapped me!" Zach fumed
" No I simply high fived your face." I signed with and innocent yet condescending face.
Jack translated and everyone watch in aww as Zach and I stared at each other until he could comeback.
"Look whose talking, the girl who was so unwanted she was aborted. You were a mistake when you were conceived and a mistake when you were born. You were returned to the orphanage
17 times. Nobody wants you, nobody loves you. Face it you have no place in this world. Your a misfit. A mistake. One that we just can't seem to get rid of. No matter how hard we try to get rid of you, you stick around. Your a pest. An unwanted pest!" He retorted.
It all seemed to happen is slow motion. My knee flew into his groin and I pushed him down with all of the force I could muster. My knee crushing his manhood. And I flew up. Within in five seconds I managed to to take down the person who made my life a living hell. In a split second I took off running my friends trailing behind, disbelief apparent on their faces. After I reached our secret hide out I fell to the ground, barely breathing and sobbing my eyes out. About five minutes later Jack sprinted into the hideout panting, followed by the others. It took them a minute to take in my apperance and realize what was going on.
"Marissa!" Jack screamed flopping down next to me and picking me up. He cradled and started to rock me back and forth. I was soon surrounded by my friends who were comforting me and telling me how amazing I am.
"Yessssss!" Terrence screamed suddenly.
"What?!" Jack, Drew, Lucy, Jake, and Aron yelled confused.
"I left the camera on up in the tree looking down on where Marissa and Zach were standing!" Terrence screamed joyously.
"Yesssss!" everyone else screamed joyously, celebrating.
"Wait it's still up in the tree!" Terrence yelled clearly scared out of his mind. Everyone sat in silence for a few minutes.
"Well, what are y'all waiting for let's go get it?! I signed. They all looked at me surprised at how willing to go back.
"What if Zach and his posse are still there?!" Lucy asked clearly frightened.
"If he chooses to bother us, than he'll have to deal with me." I signed getting up.
I started to walk out the door and they all followed me. We got there with out being bothered and starting heading back to the orphanage.
"Vvrrrrvvrrrrvvvvvrrrrrroooooom" went the roar of an engine.
"Well well well, look who came back. You stupid, stupid girl. Aww, boys look the baby is crying. Hahahahahahahhaha. Your such a baby Marissa."
"Leave us alone Zach." Jake said clearly annoyed.
Next thing I new I was flying through the air and landed in the pond. Not only could I not swim( which is a well known fact at school ), but the wind was knock out of me and I received some broken bones.
