ELEANOR's POV

I pull up to my favorite coffee shop. I'm not supposed to have too much coffee but I havent had one in almost 3 months, I'm allowed a cheat day.

I walk up to the register.

No one is there.

"Hello?" I shout.

No answer.

"Is someone here?!!" I yell a bit more impatiently.

"Hello?!!!!" I scream.

"Hey what's going on here?" A voice shouts.

"Ally!!" I screech. I run into the arms of my best friend.

"Hey fatty," She laughs. She caresses my belly and whispers to my baby.

"So whats going on?" She asks.

"I dont think anyone is working right now," I say in confusion.

"I am so sorry. there was... an accident in the back," A man around our age says as he walks towards us.

"I am terribly sorry," He says.

"No problem, we're just glad youre here now. Can I get a Skinny Peppermint Mocha? She'll have a..." Ally starts the order.

"Oh, ummmm...... I'll have a Pike Place Roast," I say unsurely.

"Alright. Is that it?" He laughs.

"what's so funny?!" I snap defensively.

"You just sound so unsure. Is this your first coffee?" He asks with a chuckle here and there.

"Ya! My first coffee in 3 months!" I shout with a smile as I point to my bloated stomach. He stares at my stomach with surprise. He nods and quickly goes silent.

"How much do we owe you?" Ally asks to break the sudden silence.

"Dont worry about it. This one's on the house," He says.

"No, seriously," I say.

He prints out the receipt and tosses it in the garbage. He turns his back towards us and starts doing stuff.

"c'mon," Allison says. I shrug and follow her.

"So what's going on? Why'd you wanna meet?" She asks me.

"Ally, I dont know if I can do this." I start.

"What do you mean El?" She asks.

"I dont think I can have this baby and be family with Lou."


NIALL's POV

I pace back and forth with Allison's number ready to be called.

"Should I?" I ask myself.

"Of course you should!" A woman's voice says.

I quickly turn around to see a beautiful face.

"Demi," I whisper.

"Hey Niall," She greets me. She walks towards me and pulls me into a hug.

"I can feel you," I whisper wit tears in my eyes. She smiles at me and nods her head.

"Niall youre a hero. youre gonna be the one to save Lilly," She says with a faint smile on her face.

"Oh God, Demi. You know everything dont you?" I ask in shock.

"If youre referring to how you feel about her? I do,;" She says with tears appearing in her eyes.

"Demi, no. I love you, you're the one I love."

"Niall it's ok," She says turning away from me.

"No it's not. Demi... we are married," I look down at my hand a see a ring that I didnt see before.

"Of course we are, but it's ok that youre moving on," She looks down at her hand and plays with the ring that I gave her when we got married.

"Niall, I didnt come here to talk about us. I came here to tell you that Allison, her family, everyone needs to know that Lilly isnt dead," Demi says.

"You came here to talk to me about Lilly?" I ask in anger.

"Niall if you keep this a secret, James will never leave. He's not gone Niall, he's still in there. He's just waiting for a good time to take control. After that beat down, he's gonna need to recover, he'll be back soon, though," She tells me.

"Why is he even here?! Why Demi?!" I yell.

"Because you created him. You couldnt deal with my death so you made a part of yourself that didnt have feelings, only feelings for our daughter," She snaps.

"That's what he wants? Our daughter right?" I ask Demi.

"You tell me, he's apart of you. Are you gonna stop him before he hurts more people? Niall he ruined your life!" She shouts.

"Because you left me! You left Demi!" I yell. I burry my face in my hands. I sob uncontrollably.

"You know exactly what you need to do," Demi says before placing a kiss in my head.

"I do. I love you, Demi," I lift my head and find myself alone. I stare into my hands and notice my wedding band gone. I search around frantically.

"It wasnt real," I whisper as I realize it was just my imagination.

"I know what I need to do."
