Hey some author to author advice not to sound rude or mean because your story is great but you should put a good amount of space between what each person is saying so it looks more like this

"my name is Niall" i said "so where are you going?" I said.

also use quotations when their speaking it makes it less confusing and lastly there are more ways to write he said or she said if u want some examples you can check out my story because just saying he said or she said can get a little boring love your story though its really good and i dont mean to be judgey really like the story :)
