Ugh I REALLY hated the boy band right now. In my room, I flopped onto a bed and tried to clear my mind. Ari and Brook would be out there for a while. I needed to get out without them seeing me. But how? Then I eyed a door at the back of the room. It led to a small balcony. "Yes!" I whispered. I quietly tiptoed outside and looked out over the balcony. My long dark hair blew in the breeze. It was a five story drop with a sandy beach at the bottom. But, this building was old and didn't have the best building methods. There were plenty of hand and footholds from the uneven and sticking out bricks to the window ledges and lower balconies on the outer wall.
I quickly swung over the railing and placed both feet on holds. My hands gripped the railings. My feet trailed down a little more, and my hands slid farther down the railings. Carefully, I lowered myself onto the next balcony. I repeated this again and again. Then I was on the first floor balcony and I jumped off the side to the beach.
I landed hard, and fell to the ground, but I was okay. I grabbed, my backpack which I had brought, and sat in one of my grandmothers beach folding chairs. Taking out a book, I finally had peace.

I was there for about ten minutes when a group of maybe four girls walked by. I immediately recognized them as Stephanie, Lindsay, Natalie, and Sarah. Their backs were facing me, and they sat down in a group of chairs only ten feet away from me, so close I could hear what they were saying.

"Ohh, did you see them? I think Niall looked at me!" Stephanie squealed. I stopped reading my book and listened. Niall. I think that was the blond, the one with the accent different from the rest.
"Girl, Niall is nothing compared to Harry!" Said Natalie.
"My favorite is Zayn," said Sarah.
"Omg NO Liam's the best!" Said Lindsay.
"Well," said Stephanie, "we can all agree that Louis is really hot!"
Well f*ck this plan, I thought. Could I go anywhere without 1D mentions and fan girls?
Then, I couldn't believe who walked by. Five boys. Yup. I groaned, but that was drowned out by Stephanie and her friends screams.
I was about to get up when they spotted me.
"Hey, aren't you Delilah?" The curly haired one said.
"how do you know my name?" I snapped.
"Those two girls up there were talking to us after you so quickly left." I'm pretty sure that ones name was Louis.
"Yeah," said the one with dark hair and a white stripe. "Your sister and your friend were talking to us."
"Why don't you like us?" Said the blond haired one. My heart beat faster at his Irish - I was sure it was Irish now - accent.
"Umm," I started, but then the one named Liam spoke. He was kind of cute too.
"Hey didn't you go into your room? We never saw you come out! How did you get down here?"
"I climbed," I muttered.
They stared at me in awe. "Are you serious?! That's like five levels!" Said Niall. I shrugged.
"can I get back to my reading?" I said impatiently.
"How come you don't - you aren't - ......" Niall said.
"Completely obsessed and in love with you?" I finished his sentence. "Why would I be?"
"well....."
Louis was interrupted by Stephanie.
"Hey, omg I love you guys!" She gushed.
i rolled my eyes.
Her friends all started speaking at once, agreeing with her.
then she noticed me.
"Why are you talking to HER?" She said
"yeah," One of her friends said. " she's a loser!"
again, they all agreed.
i was really tired of this fan girl thing, sick of it.
"ALRIGHT!" I glared at the band. "THIS is why I HATE you!"
I stormed off again, forgetting my backpack.
