Truly Yours

last night was a blur for Kadie, she had been coming to this parties often.
i couldn't let her drive wasted, so i drove her home.
it was like 2:30 in the morning and i didn't wanna go home this late so i slept over her house.
"bree wake up? lets go shopping later?" a squeaky girly voice said behind me, that clearly was Kadie.
how can you be drunk a couple of hours ago and be awake at 10am. i guess all this people from this town were used to it.
" ok, let me go home and shower ill text you when to pick me up" i replied. i walked home, the sun hitting my face making me frown from the rays hitting me.
as i walked home, the car wasn't there, my mom wasn't home so i decided to go to the back of the house knowing my mom always leaves the back door open. yup! she did.
i showered and just layed in my bed wrapped around a towel. my mom was pretty organized so knowing that my whole room was already set didn't surprise me.
i quickly put on a denim long sleeve and some white shorts with my high top converse. as i got ready i glance to see my guitar, the one my dad gave me for my 11th birthday, 5 years and that guitar wasn't getting old yet i was. i couldn't help but grab it and i started playing:

that was my favorite song, my dad dedicated that song to my mom when they first met.
suddenly i heard a knock in the door, thinking its Kadie coming to pick me up.
i run to the door to see a tall curly haired guy in front of me, his beautiful smile brighten the whole place, his dimples were the cutest..what the heck was i saying? " yeah, can i help you?" i asked him. " you already did? " he responded...
