Truly Yours

i knew today was going to be a good day, i was going to visit my cousin Kadie who i hadn't seen for over 3 years.
i put on a t-shirt and some shorts and wore my toms. Kadie didn't live that far way from me, just a couple of streets away. as i stepped down the car i saw my aunt Leah step out her front door not able to contain her excitement to finally see us after so long.
" oh my gosh Bree, you are so grown! " she shouted. "i know, auntie Leah.. um, where's Kadie? " i added, not to be there for more longer as i knew she was gonna ask me an infinite of questions. "she's upstairs getting ready to go out to a friend's party, darlin' " she answered.
i followed the stairs that led me to Kadie's room, a somewhat excitement yet nerves ran through my body not knowing what to expect as i reaction from Kadie.
as i enter the door a petite, blonde figure stood in front of me, giving me their back.
i knocked on the door just for her to turn around and hug me.
" awhh Bree, I've missed you so much! " she said. " i did too Kadie.. like so much dude!" i replied. " so how do you like town, isn't it the best?" she asked putting some more powder on her already paled face.
" its alright, i haven't really been out there you know" i said looking out the window and then looking back at her. " how about you come to the party with me? the whole school is gonna be there, its a good way to meet people when you go back to school".
the thought of me going to the party seem nice, maybe meet new friends i could sit in lunch with when school started.. " ok ill go" i agreed to her proposition.
