It was a little girl, she could’ve been but only 5, I could see the infection eating away at her, it would only be a matter of time till she turned. Before I even realized what I was doing I had picked her up and carried her to a bench. She looked at me and cried as words fell from her mouth about her mother throwing her out and her getting biten. It threw me off guard as she asked me if I had someone I love ,but how could I tell her my love had been recruited and was only signed to serve for 2 years and I had been 4 years, so I told her that was on my own just like her, in 2 days time she had turned during breakfeast ,and I had to kill her,her blood going everywhere, in the food, on the floor, the walls ,her scream made me feel awful but I knew she wasn’t her she was one of them.
