Spying -Louis Tomlinson Fanfic-
Digging a little deeper -Erin's POV-
**Erin's POV**
"Hello, I am officer ham, and I will need you to answer some questions for me" the officer said. Nancy and I tried to contain our giggles at his name.
Ham? Really? What type of name is that?
I invited him to sit and he pulled out a notebook "My first question is, did you see what this person looked like?" He asked, I shook my head "All I know is that he was a boy" I answered, truthfully.
He nodded and scribbled something down. "Do you owe anyone money or anything?" He asked again "um, no, I don't" he nodded again and wrote something down. "Do you or anyone have a family feud?" he asked "No" I answered again, getting bored. "Do you know anyone who hates you enough to want to harm you in anyway or kill you?" He asked seriously.
I sucked in a breath. Do I? One girl from primary school, she was an absolute slut and me and Nancy were friends with her before we had a massive fight. But I don't think she would try to harm us since she is scared of me.
I shook my head quickly "Ok, well that will be enough. We will try and work out who is after you and we will be in contact. Good day" He said in one breath and left.
Nancy and I looked at each other with worried expressions. We didn't need to speak, the looks we were giving each other is enough.
“Are you thinking what I’m thinking?” she asked me with a knowing look “That I want chicken?” I asked seriously. She sighed and shook her head. “NO! Think again” She said “Time to do our own investigation?” I asked. She nodded and smirked. We ran to my room and went through my wardrobe for our old spy outfits from a Halloween party last year.
“Found them!” I yelled, Nancy walked over and took her one. I took mine and we quickly got dressed into them.
“Now where do we start” she asked. “Well he wont be around now since the police were just here, so we need to track back to where I first saw him. So lets go to Starbucks!” I said, Nancy nodded and we jumped into Nancy’s car and drove to Starbucks.
“Look for anything that looks unnatural” Nancy said and I nodded and ran off towards where I first saw him. I carefully watched where I was going and looked for anything suspicious.
Suddenly I saw a piece of cloth hanging off a branch. I got out some tweezers and picked it up and put it in a zip lock bag. I then ran off to find Nancy. “Nanc!” I whisper-yelled “Yeah” she whisper-yelled back and came into view. “I found something” I said and showed her the zip lock bag. “I know a guy who can get all the details” Nancy said and walked towards the car. I followed her and she drove off down the road.
“Here we are” She said and got out, I followed and she went into a small store.
“Hi George, we just wanted to know if you could get all the details on a piece of cloth we found” She asked kindly.
“Of course love, bring it to me” Said the old man. I handed it to him and he took it out of the zip lock bag.
“This is a rare material, quite expensive and used for… what you can say spy material. I can give you an address for the person who makes this type of material if you would like” He said, smiling. “That would be great” I said with a smile.
He walked to his desk and scribbled the address down on a piece of paper.
“Here you go, I hope you find what you’re looking for” He said. We thanked him and walked out of the store. “Should we go tonight?” Nancy asked. I shook my head “Let’s get some rest and Leo can come as well. Coz you know how he is if I’m in any type of danger” I said, Nancy laughed and we got into the car and drove home.
“uh oh” I said as I saw Leo standing out the front of the house with his arms crossed. We got out of the car and he walked towards me “What the hell are you wearing and where were you?! You almost gave me a heart attack” He said, raising his voice. “We went to do some investigation ourselves and we wanted to look cool and I’m really sorry” I said honestly. “Well how about we leave the investigating to the police and you certainly do look good” Leo said winking.
I stuck my tongue out at him and we went inside. “Lets eat lots of junk food and get fat!” Leo cheered. Nancy and I cheered along and we all ran towards my fridge and cupboard.
And that night I forgot everything that happened and enjoyed being with my sister and boyfriend!
