I think someone is watching me... -Erin's POV-
-Erin's POV-
"Nancy! lets go to Starbucks before I die of coffee withdrawal" I said dramatically as I fall onto the lounge pretending I died. Nancy laughed and whacked my arm. "Hurry up, let’s go” She said before grabbing her keys. I squeal in joy and jump up from the lounge. I followed Nancy towards the door and ran to the car. “I want coffee” I sang. Nancy laughed and I smiled.
Soon enough we were at my second home. I quickly got out of the Car and skipped towards the building. Nancy runs up from behind me, we both entered the heated building and I sighed happily.
Nancy laughed and she headed up to the cashier. “The usual please” Nancy ordered. We come here everyday so the cashier knew what we always ordered.
I got our usual booth, in the back corner. Soon enough Nancy appeared with our drinks. “yayyyyy” I said excitedly, Nancy shook her head and laughed. I took my drink and thanked Nancy.
“How’s Leo” Nancy asked with a wink. I giggled “He’s good! We’re coming up to our 3 months anniversary soon” I smiled, Nancy smirked at me and I nudged her with my foot.
I suddenly felt someone watching me, I turned around and no one was there. I shrugged it off and continued the conversation with Nancy.
I then felt it again. I looked around again, but couldn’t find anyone.
Nancy looked at me worriedly “What’s wrong Ery?” Nancy asked, looking around. “I can feel someone watching me” I said quietly. “C’mon, let’s go” Nancy said as she stood up.
I nodded and followed her out of the shop, as we walked through the streets, I could still feel someone watching me…. The only thing that was the problem was that there was no one around.
“I think we should go back home… I can still feel someone watching me” I said quietly. Nancy nodded hastily and we walked quickly back to the car and got in. “This is really weird” I stated as we drove away. “I agree, can I crash at your place?” Nancy asked. “You know you don’t have to ask. Half your wardrobe is already at my place” I play rolled my eyes and Nanc laughed.
We got back to my house and got out. I could still feel eyes on me. So I fast walked into the house with Nancy following me. “Make yourself at home… wait you already do” I said in a playful tone. She poked her tongue out at me and laughed and headed to the fridge.
I got my phone and looked at my recent messages
From: Leo <3
To: Erin <3
Hey hun, just wanted to check up on you.
Get back soon
Leo xxx
I smiled and quickly sent back a reply, and walked into the kitchen, and what I saw didn’t surprise me. Nancy was eating some chocolate that I stored in my cupboard.
“Heyyyy, I want some!” I whined and grabbed them from her. She pouted and finished off the chocolate she was eating.
We walked to the lounge room and flicked on the tv
Breaking news, has Louis Tomlinson actually broken up with his long term girlfriend Eleanor Calder?
“No!! Not Elounor!” I cried. Nancy made a sad face and I turned off the tv.
“Can you feel that?” I asked worriedly. “No? What is it?” Nancy asked, looking at me. “It’s the same feeling as before, someone watching me” I shuddered.
Nancy walked towards the door and locked it, then followed by locking the windows and drawing the curtains.
“There we go!” Nancy said. I laughed and we sat on the lounge, surfing the movie sections. "Mean girls! stop now! must watch!" I said in a high, clipped tone. "Mean girls here we come!" Nancy shouted and I ran to the kitchen to make popcorn.
I could feel eyes on me once again, but closer. I frantically looked around and saw one of my windows open. I ducked down and slowly edged towards it, I popped my head up cautiously and saw someone run across my yard. I screamed and slammed my window shut and pulled the blinds across.
"Erin! What's wrong?!" Nancy screamed as she ran into the kitchen. "I- I saw someone run across the yard" I said quietly. Nancy grabbed the phone "We have to tell the police" She said as she dialled the number.
I ran into the lounge room and grabbed my phone and dialled Leo as fast as my hands would let me. "Leo, im being followed and i'm scared" I cried into the phone before he could even say hello.
"What do you mean followed?" He asked worriedly
"Someone has been watching me since Nancy and I went to Starbucks and I just saw the person run across the yard!" I said, calming down a little.
"I'll be right over. Be safe love, see you soon" He said then hung up.
I ran back to the kitchen and saw Nancy put down the phone. "The police are on their way" She said, she had a scared look in her eye and I am sure my expression matches hers.
I nod, we go sit together on the lounge and wait for the police.
