Snapped out of my thoughts by the guy selling the popcorn asking for me to pay, I rummaged through my wallet and pulled out the right amount of money, and heading for the theater where Kaige waited. As we were walking to take our seats Kaige abruptly put his arm around me, then whispered “You look lovely tonight” with a seductive smirk on his face. For one, it was 2 in the afternoon. And two he was just saying that so he could use me as a sex toy. We sat in the very back, of course not my choice. I just zoned out and thought about of a way to escape this nightmare. Honestly, my situation doesn’t look bad at all. That is where you are wrong, dead wrong. I was not interested in this movie at all. I was woken up from my thoughts when he scooted closer to me and put his arm around me once more. Then I noticed his hand, it read Cindy XXX-XXXX. I immediately thought of an excuse to sneak out somehow. I couldn’t just storm off. He would chase me down and I need some head start. I know he will get suspicious after 7 minutes or so, but at least I can hide somewhere in time. “Hey Kaige I need to pee” I started to cross my legs tightly pretending like I really needed to go. “Okay, be fast though. I expect you back in 3 minutes.” Geez he treats me like I am his little pet on a leash. I walked fast threw the empty halls and scurried out of the front door. I quickly got in my car and went. I didn’t know where I was going. I probably should’ve thought of that earlier. Then I decided I would be heading. Zoey’s house, it actually wasn’t far from here but it’s in the opposite direction so it’s fine with me. It has been ten minutes and I’m already pulling up her driveway. I rush in the house and just walk in praying that she is here. She is a dancer and kinda is getting her big break this weekend because she is getting to dance on the X Factor UK. I just hope she is not rehearsing. To my surprise she was laying the couch watching her favorite movie Love Actually. She looked very shocked seeing me barge in like I did but it was kind of an emergency. She already knew about the abusing boyfriend. She always tried her best to help but she never could. After I explained what happened she help me cool down. It has been 2 hours it felt like 15 minutes. Zoey offers for me to sleep over but it was only about 5 p.m. so I just felt like I needed to go home. When I opened the door I bumped into some girl with tan skin and curly hair. She smiled at me and said “sorry” I said its fine. She didn’t hesitate to introduce herself. “I am Danielle Peazer” I immediently knew who she was. Liam Paynes girlfriend from One Direction. I didn’t say anything about that because I knew she got enough of that. I said bye to both of them and drove home. Kaige and I did not live together. But he really wants to. I got out of the car and walked up to the front door. Only to find it was wide open. I slowly walked then I saw Kaige. He looked furious. He started to come at me but I ran. I am not very bright because instead of just turning around to go outside, I ran into the kitchen. I grabbed a knife to defend myself. But was soon knocked out of my hand when I was pushed down I ran up and ran into the bathroom and quickly locked the door behind me. I was breathing hard scared to death. I relized I was crying. I knew he was going to brake the door down eventually. I heard him scream “OPEN THE DAMN DOOR ASHLEY.” That made me cry more then he broke it down and jumped on top of me. I heard glass shatter I knew it was the mirror. I shut my eyes tight and then felt something stab into me. Now my eyes were wide open I started screaming. He stabed a big shard of glass in my thigh and ran it down to my knee. I was filled with rage and tried punching me and caught my hand and slapped me. Didn’t even hurt compared the pain of gushing blood from my thigh. He stood up and I took the advantage and took a shard of glass and stabbed him in the knee he scram in pain and fell to the floor I started running got in my car and drove back to Zoey’s place. I was still crying. I ran in, not getting anything out of my mouth my bottom lip shacking. Both hers and Danielle’s jaws hung open.
