“Holy shit! Niall’s home!” I mumbled to myself trying to get out of the room as fast as possible. I got up of the bed, and started running to the door but then I noticed I’d thrown one of his pillows to the floor, so I returned to his bed to get it up. I tried to leave everything like it was before I entered to his room. I locked his door again and got out.
But when I was out.
Fuck.
I left the key inside.
I started to freak out when I hear Niall calling
“Sophia! Where are you?” I rushed to the couch were Niall was sitting
“Hey, where were you?” He said smiling
“Ermm, in my room” I lied nervously “How are you? How was your day?” I tried to change the subject.
“All good, learned a lot of cool choreographies today, pretty tired thought” He told me
Yeah cool choreographies… Like if I hadn’t seen them dancing.
“Cool” I smiled
“And what did you do?” He asked me.
I sat beside Niall and gave him a little smile.
'What am I gonna do? He will notice I entered to his room! He’s gonna think I’m a stalker and will hate me' I thought to myself.
“Not much, I took a nap, and then watched TV and stuff” I said starting to relax a little
“Wanna go for a walk? I want to show you London, besides we need to solve your phone-problem” He said smiling
“Yeah, sure. I’d love to” I said thinking that maybe he wouldn’t go to his room in a while.
“Well, I’m going to change my clothes, I’ll be back in five” He said attempting to walk to his room.
I took nervously his arm and told him “You don’t need to. You look fine like that” my voice was shaking
“I’m all sweaty, don’t worry I’ll change quickly” He said getting his arm off of me, and walking to his room.
I stood there frozen. “Fuck, fuck, fuck” I said softly to myself
“Karma for being a nosy bitch” I swear I heard Alex voice in my head.
I sat on the couch when I heard Niall coming..
“Hey Sophia, have you seen three little keys that were on the stand that is by my room?” He asked me.
“No” I said shaking and standing up.
“Hmm… How weird. I swear I left them there, but anyways I have the replacement here” He said walking to the kitchen and opening the third drawer. “Don’t tell anyone” He smirked at me and went to his room again.
I sighed in relief and told to myself “Shit. That was close”
I sat on the couch again, and after 5 minutes Niall came by
“Ready” He said smiling.
He was wearing a blue t-shirt that made his eyes look brighter and a pair of dark blue jeans. He was just perfect.
I think I made a creepy face, because he gave me a strange look and asked me “What?”
I shook my head “Nothing, you look great in blue” I said blushing.
“Thanks, let’s go” he said leading to the door.
I stood up and walked to where he was but then I noticed he was staring at me with a weird expression.
“Ermm, Sophia” He said still with the weird look.
“Yeah, what?” I asked confused.
“You’re barefoot” He said laughing
Fuck. I’d completely forgot my converse were wet.
I look down my feet and we both burst out laughing.
“True” I said running to my room.
Thanks to the light that went through my window all morning, my shoes were now dry, so I put them and took my granddad’s hoodie and put it too and then I walked to where Niall was waiting for me.
“Ready” I said giggling a little
“Okay, c’mon. You’re gonna love London” He said closing the door behind me
I smiled and we both went inside of the black SUV that was waiting for us.
“Hey” Niall said to the driver, who turned his face to greet Niall and I noticed he was Preston; I couldn’t help but smile.
“Sophia, he’s” Niall tried to say but I cut him of “Preston, I know” I said still smiling
“Yeah” He giggled “Preston she’s Sophia, a friend” He told Preston
“Oh hi” he said pulling the car to the driveway “Where are we going?” He asked
I gave Niall a curious look and he answered, “Downtown, please”. Preston nodded and started driving.
At first we we’re all quiet, but then Niall broke the silence
“So tell me about you, you know more than enough of me, but I hardly know about you”
“Well, there’s not much to know about me, I’m weird, I’m easygoing but bad at socializing, I laugh way to much and I’m a loud person, sometimes I can be quite annoying though. I have instable emotions and I love everything edible except for onion. I like maths and physics and love every form of art, and culture. I really like to write, although I don’t read a lot. My favorite color is green, and I’m obsessed with Pirates of the Caribbean and Johnny Depp. When someone I trust betray me I will never trust them the same again, no matter what they do. To be honest sometimes I can be a stubborn bitch and I swear a lot. I'm claustrophobic, and I'm partially deaf. I don't like when people touch me, but I like to touch people” I giggled a little “I usually try to see the best from the worst, and it’s hard for the bad things to get to me, I’m really carefree but when it comes to the people I love. I HATE labels and judgements. Oh, and I can be the clumsiest person in the whole world”
"Wow” He said, “You’re like my soul mate”
Yesss! Omg I can’t believe he DID say that! That’s what I had told everyone before, and they all were like.. “Yeah sure, he’s gonna puke on you, when he sees you”
“I hope” I mumbled hoping he hadn’t heard.
“What?” He asked me..
“Nothing” I answered with a nervous smile.
“But not clumsier than me” He laughed
“Wanna bet?” I said smiling “Once I was at school, and being the badass I am I was sitting on the desk instead of on my chair. So I was talking to some girls, when the desk literally collapsed, and I fell to the floor. And not happy with that; I made a non-human sound because it really freaked me out. Of course everybody laughed, and still today, every time these girls remember it, they make fun of me”
We both stared at each other, and then burst into laugh. Even Preston laughed a bit.
“Well, at least you didn’t fart in front of Simon Cowell” He said fighting through his laughter
“We arrived” Preston told us.
We got out of the SUV and went next to Preston’s window
“Do you want me to go with you Niall?” Preston asked.
“No, it’s okay bud, it’s Sunday and it’s near 6:30 pm. We can go alone, I’ll call you when we’re ready to go back, okay?” Niall said
“Okay” Preston answered
“Thanks” Niall said starting to walk to the opposite sidewalk. But before I could follow him I told Preston “Thank you”
“You’re welcome” He said politely.
“I’m a big fan of yours” I mouthed him crossing the road.
I walked to Niall’s side, and started looking to the city. It was so beautiful. I hadn’t seen London’s downtown before.
We walked quietly for a bit and then Niall said “So, do you like London?”
“No” I answered seriously and he gave me a confuse look. “I love it” I said smiling
I closed my eyes and took a long deep breath, just enjoying the moment. I was in the perfect place, with the perfect company and all my problems, for once, were gone…
When I opened my eyes, Niall was staring at me.
“What are you doing?” He giggled. “Breathing London” I said smiling
Once again, we burst out laughing and when we finished, Niall looked at me and said
“Okay, you win. You’re clumsier” Laughing again.
I smacked him softly in the arm and then joined his laughter.
But when I was out.
