“I heard it the first time, and sorry if I sound rude, but girl, it’s 10 pm, you already know I don’t like when fans come to my house, but when they do it at night like you did it now, it is just wrong, I wasn’t even going to open the door, but something told me I had to do it, just to tell you that going to someone’s house even if they’re famous or not at night is really really annoying. If you really wanted to come to my house, at least you could have waited until tomorrow morning.” He said really angry

“Wait Sophia! Chill out, you need to control yourself” I thought to myself, thanks god this time I didn’t say it out loud, I would be completely embarrassed

Wait again. He’s mad. He’s mad at me, oh no I can’t stand Niall being mad at me.

“Sorry” my lips broke the awkward moment “I really didn’t mean to annoy you, actually, I don’t even know what I’m doing here, it’s just that I couldn’t think of anywhere else to go, I’m alone, and scared, and I don’t even live in this country”

I broke in tears as I continued saying “I though maybe you could help me, but I was so wrong, sorry for bothering you, I’m sure you’re really tired, don’t worry I will find out what to do alone” I said through my tears.

I was really crying my heart out, I think all the stress I’d been keeping for myself released and I couldn’t stop crying.

“No, don’t walk away, it’s raining, come in please” He said.

“Wha-aat? No, Niall sorry, I won’t bother you anymore” I said, trying to calm down

“You’re not bothering me, please come in, only till the rain stops.” He said with a big smile.

I smiled a little and nodded.

I entered to his flat, it was huge and so fancy; it was really beautiful. He told me to sit on his couch, and I did what he said. And then he spoke

“Do you want a cup of tea? You’re wet, you must be freezing” He said very polite.

I didn’t know what to say, of course I wanted, London was ten times colder than Guadalajara and I was wet.

“I don’t want to bother” I repeated

“You aren’t” he said disappearing and leaving me alone in the living room. After a few minutes he came back with two cups of tea, one for me and one for him

I thanked him, and started drinking mine.

“So, now that you’re calmer, can you tell me, what exactly brought you here?” he said a little bit curious

Fuck. What am I gonna say?

I took a deep breath, and then continued, “Well actually, I’m here because I thought we could be friends. Yes, I know it sounds crazy, but I thought you were the only person in this world that could help me finding my way out of my actual life full of crap. And after a fight I had with my mom, I realised I was wasting my entire life doing nothing, so I decided to come here to meet you, and maybe give a 180 degrees spin to my life, but now I’m lost in another continent with no money and talking to you” I said honestly

“But why me?” He said trying to understand why I just left my life in the search of him

“I really don’t know, maybe because every time I’m feeling down, you cheer me up in some strange way or maybe because I think we could be really good, good friends. But real ones, not just idol-fan friends” I said facepalming me in my head for the stupid thing I just said.

“Oh” Was the only thing he said.

I took a sip of my tea, to avoid the awkward silence.

But then I remembered! Yes!

I took my wet backpack and opened it. He gave me a strange look, but I didn’t mind, I knew he was going to love me after this.

I took out of my backpack the now wet-paper bag and handed to him

“Here” I said, noticing that his face lightened up since I took out the food

“Is this for me?” He said surprised

“Yes, I was not going to annoy you in your house without bringing something, that would be impolite” I said with a big smile

“First, you’re not annoying me, I already told you that, and second, can we just become best friends now?” He said eating as fast as he could his peri-peri chicken

I giggled a little, and nodded

“Of course, that’s what I wanted on the first place” I thought to myself. Oh wait. No. I didn’t think it. I SAID IT OUT LOUD! Shit

A big laughter came from Niall when he saw my big eyes wide open realising what I just said and my face blushing all over

I giggled a little and then joined Niall with a big laughter

When we stopped laughing, Niall continued eating his food, and I broke the now non-awkward silence

“By the way, my name’s Sophia, if you were wondering” I said a little bit sarcastically

“Right! I didn’t even know your name, well now I do, it’s a great name” He said giving me a smile

We were there on his couch chatting a couple of hours, laughing and joking, like if we knew each other from all our lives, and then, from his look I realised he was really tired.

“I think I’m going now, you need to sleep, you look very tired and it's near 12 am” I said standing up of the sofa

“hmm.. okay” He said standing as well.

I took my backpack but before I could walk to the door

“But, where are you going?” he said a little bit concerned

Shit. I hadn’t even thought of that. Now that I met him, what am I gonna do?

“I really don’t know” I answered honestly

“Look, I don’t want you to take this wrong, but you could stay here, at least until tomorrow, so you can find out what you’re gonna do, I have a guest room, and you could sleep there” he said touching my shoulder

Shit.shit.shit. Niall is touching my shoulder, control yourself! And he is inviting you to stay in his flat! Not even in the fanfics he did that! Omg.

“You don’t have to do this Niall, I can solve my problems on my own, you already have yours, you don’t have to worry for some stranger’s too” I said looking to the floor

He touched my chin and lifted it up until my eyes met his “First, you bought me Nando’s even when you didn’t have a lot of money and that’s something not even Sean would do for me, and besides, you’re not a stranger, we're friends, aren’t we?” He said giving me the loveliest smile in the world

“Well, I guess we are” I said putting my backpack down again.

“We are Sophia, since now. And I’m really tired, how about you?” he said yawning

“You wouldn’t guess how tired I am, I hadn’t slept in a bed in more than 24 hours” I said joining his yawn

“Well, so now follow me” He said, and I did. He took me to a huge and lovely room, it was like those in the movies where the princesses sleep

“Wow, it’s beautiful” I said.

“Thanks, good night Sophia” He said, leaving me alone in the huge room.

In not more than 3 seconds I was sleeping deeply
