“But first, how much will it be?” I said before getting in the taxi, I couldn’t afford more than 10 pounds.

“It will be 20 pounds, miss” Fuck. What am I gonna do?

“I only have 10 pounds” I said freaking out

“Well I can drive you near the complex, and then you could walk” He said very polite.

“Okay” I said sadly, getting in the car.

After 25 minutes, he stopped and told me “We arrived, it will be 10 pounds miss”

I handed him the money, and before getting out I asked “And now, where does the complex is?”

“Oh, right. Look, you shall walk straight on this road for like 20 blocks, and then turn left and walk another 7 or 8 blocks, and you will start seeing some huge flats, they are those, but I don’t really know which flat is from which one. You will need to find out that yourself miss.” He said

I was really focused on not to get lost, so I started walking where the man had told me.

I walked for like hours, but then, thanks to my luck again, it started raining!! Fuck.

I put the paper bag inside of my backpack, so the food wouldn’t get wet, and started running. I ran as fast as I could but I really didn’t know where his house was.

I was starting to freak out, when I saw it, Obama sitting in a balcony. Yes! Found him!

I walked to his door, and before I could knock it, I realised something..

I hadn’t changed from the clothes I was wearing the night I sneaked out of my house, plus I had my granddad’s hoddie, and I was soaking.

“Yeah! Perfect way to impress your soul mate.” I told myself.

After few minutes that I kept thinking to knock or not to knock I decided that, that was my only opportunity, so I knocked.

After 5 minutes of non-answer, I knocked again, this time a little louder.
