Darcy

Stephanie and I walked into the room to see Darcy laying on the hospital bed. She had still been knocked out from the stuff they put her on. I walked over and kissed her forehead. Poor thing.
*Darcy's P.O.V*

The last thing I remember before I passed out was my dad rushing in and saving me. I had blacked out for so long I thought I was dead. I started opening my eyes a tiny bit to see my dad and Stephanie sitting in the two chairs by my bedside.
"Darcy! You're okay"! Dad saying coming over and kissing me. I tried smiling through the pain I was feeling. My stomach hurt so bad.
"Dad. Is Chloe here"? I asked nervously. Dad started stroking my hair.
"Honey! Your never EVER going to see Chloe again. She's out of our lives forever", he said. I looked at his hand to see no ring. I always dreamed of this day. I looked over at Stephanie who had been smiling. I don't know if she was more happy that I was alive or that my dad was single. I smiled as she walked over and kissed my forehead as well.
"I love you Darcy", she said. I wish I was weak enough to say it back. All of the sudden, dad's phone started to ring.
"One minute. I'll take this out here", he said walking out into the hallway and shutting the door behind him.
"How are you feeling"? She asked me.
"I feel like I had a c section. It hurts so bad", I said.
"They had to put stitches in you", Stephanie said. My eyes widened. I've had stitches in my arm before and they hurt to get out in. Good thing I wasn't awake to feel them.
"Darcy. This is all my fault", she said tearing up.
"No it's not! How"? I asked.
"I knew about Chloe hurting you and I didn't do anything to stop it", she said.
"Stephanie it's okay. At least I'm here now. That's all that really matters", I said.
"Chloe's missing", dad said rushing in the door.
"What"?! Stephanie said freaking out.
"They sent the cops over to the house to arrest her ass and they searched absolutely everywhere in that house. The only thing they found was a note. One of them sent me an email of what it said. The note said:
"So you caught me. I've burned, cut, hit, punched, beat severely, starved, and screamed at your little bitch of a daughter. Well I'm not going to prison for life because of that! Simply, I fleed the country. I bought a plane ticket and moved far away from this place. Oh don't worry. I'll be back in a few years or so. But this time, I'll be back for you. I'll kill you all for sure. Love, Chloe Styles", dad said.
"Oh my gosh"! Stephanie yelled.
"Yeah I know! But maybe the police will actually find her and arrest her", dad assured.
"Speaking of arrested. Dad...Zayn never raped me. Zayn never touched Chloe either! It was apart of Chloe's plan just to ruin our lives. He's innocent"! I said. Dad looked at me like I was crazy.
"I'm sorry baby. But you don't possibly think I could bail him out, right"?
"I've got that covered", Stephanie said talking about her super rich parents.
"Yes! Wait why did you lie about it"? Dad asked.
"Chloe threatened to kill me and I knew she would do it. I'm so sorry", I said
"It's okay but let's change the subject. This is a happy moment", dad said. All of the sudden, I became super weak. I felt like I couldn't even say a whole sentance. I closed my eyes so I could just rest them.
"Darcy"? Dad asked.
"Tired", was all I could say.
"Okay good night. We'll be here when you wake up", dad said. I smiled and just thought about how much better my life was going to be with just me and my d-
"Stephanie"? Dad asked interupting my thoughts.
"Yes Harry"? She answered.
"How about going out with me one time", he asked her. I tried to hide the smile on my face as I was 'sleeping'.
"I'd love to go out with you"! She said excitedly, I opened my eyes just enough to see him walk over to her and kiss her. I said my life would be great with just me and my dad? Adding Stephanie to the picture would make it even better.
