"Darcy", a sweet voice said shaking me softly. I opened my eyes and seen Kelsie. I smiled. For once I wasn't woken up with boiling water or getting screamed at. I looked at my phone. 10:08! My kind of time. "Its time for breakfast", she said with a laugh. I got up and followed her to the kitchen. Already at the table was Kelsie's 10 year old brother Jayden and Cameron. Kelsie made me take the seat closest to Cameron. How awkward! I tried not having eye contact with him but it didn't work. His phone went off like every two seconds. "Who are you texting"! Kelsie asked. He looked at me. "Im texting Nichole", he said glaring at me. I glared back. You don't just ask someone out and then go date another girl! I don't care if he was my best friends brother or not. I hated him. "Breakfast is ready"! Her mom said in her sweet voice setting a plate of pancakes on the table. Kelsie and I dug in grabbing 4 at once. Cameron gave me a small smile taking the same amout. I couldn't help but give a tiny smile back. There's just something about him I don't get. One second he doesn't even wanna look at me but the next second, he shoots me smiles? What the heck. Jayden grabbed one pancake eating it in about 2 seconds and running away from the table leaving only the three of us. Kelsie stood up. "I have to PEE! Sit and chat or something"!!! She yelled running into the bathroom. We both laughed. "Do you hate me"? Cameron asked me. "No"! I kind of lied. Just kidding...it wasn't a lie. No matter how much I wanted to hate him, I still liked him. "Good"! He said smiling. I smiled back. It was pretty awkward if you ask me. We kind of looked at eachother every once and a while and laughed. "Are you staying another night"? He asked out of the blue. "I don't know. If Kelsie wants me to than I while but...why"? I asked. He shrugged. "Just wondering cuz i wanted to have some friends over too and we can all hang out tonight then" He said. I had a feeling it was going to be a crazy night. I was right.
