I stood in the freezing cold snow waiting for her to tell me what to do. "Go lay in the snow for an hour without moving. One movement and I restart your time.", she said. I turned around and seen the blizzard coming towards our way. She can't be serious can she? It was probably -4 degrees, the snow was almost higher than my ankles, and im in a t-shirt and short pajama shorts. Shes gonna make me die out here! "Go"! She said shutting the slider and locking it. She left the kitchen probably locking the rest of the doors in the house. I slowly walked down the porch steps and did as I was told. I laid down like I was doing snow angels and stayed perfectly still. The snow was burning my arms and legs because of the temperature. I shivered constantly wondering how long its been. Probably about a minute...great. 60 to go. I decided to pass the time by thinking about how my date was going to go Friday. Cameron and I would be in a restaurant enjoying our meal talking about whatever we wanted. I was going to have to dress nice. I just hope that he likes me as much as I like him. I started to close my eyes and smile ignoring how cold it was. "DARCY"!!! I heard yell from the slider door. I sat up looking at my full purple arms and legs not being able to feel my toes. "Get in here now"!! She said in a quieter voice that she has been using. I slowly stood up attempting to walk. I limped slowly to the porch steps. "Hurry"! She said in a quick voice. As I got into the door, I smiled because of how warm it is. "Is it time yet"? I asked brave enough to ask. She nodded and widened her eyes. "Its been like 2 hours...I'm surprised you lived", she said smiling. Why was she suddenly being nicer. "Hurry and go take a nice hot shower! Your dad is coming home for work early because someone filled in for him. And DON'T show him your stomach or you'll be sorry", she threatened. Oh. That's why! I quickly ran as best as I could to the bathroom. I undressed, turned on the water as hot as it would go, and jumped in.
