On the outside, I showed I was calm by silently crying. On the inside, I was screaming in pain. I couldn't hold it in any longer. I started to panic. "OWWWWWW"!!!! I screamed hunched over still on the floor. Chloe was still standing at my doorway trying to hold back a laugh. I started taking deep breaths while staring at my burned stomach. "CALL...AN AMBULANCE"! I yelled. She smiled and fastly shook her head no. I threw on a shirt that was next to my bed and wiped my tears. "WHY WOULD YOU BURN ME"!?!? I screamed with tears rushing down my face. She walked closer to me. "Wake up when I tell you to next time and that won't happen. Now go clean the garage"!! She yelled back pulling me up violently by the arm. She dragged me to the garage and pushed me in. I heard a click so she obviously locked it. I kind of sat on the step and thought about everything. All of the sudden, I just started bawling my eyes out. I cried and cried until i felt like I had no tears left. I sniffled and stood up. This garage wasn't getting cleaned itself. I stared at wood pile that had fallen down. I walked to the other side of the garage and started picking up pieces. Since my long curly/wavy hair was getting in my face, I took a quick break to tie it into a ponytail. I took my ponytail holder off my wrist and started to put my hair up. Then, the most terrible thing possible happened. The monster walked in. "DARCY"!!!!!!! She screamed. "What"? I silently asked. She walked over to me and got in my face. "WHY AREN'T YOU CLEANING SOMETHING"!!!! She smacked me leaving another sharp pain just like yesterday. "I was just- "NO YOU WEREN'T!! NO EXCUSES"! She yelled interrupting me. She then punched me in the stomach right where she had burned me. I made no movement. Chloe smiled and took me by my arm. "I have a punishment for you", she said smiling. She took me to the kitchen and opened the slider door. "Get outside"! She ordered. I was too scared to disobey so I listened.
