Healing the Heart

Mimi's POV

I turn to my other side for about the thousandth time since I got into bed.I look at the clock: 12:30.Great Its been 3 hours and still no sleep. I sigh and angrily throw the covers off my body.I swing my legs over the edge of the bed and onto the floor.

I quickly grab a jacket from my closet and go to Char's room.I walk quietly through the house and make as little noise as possibly so I didn't wake up the boys.They might ask questions, and I wasn't really in the best mood right now, so that was something I would personally like to avoid.

Once I ran in Char's room I go over top the side of her bed and stand over her.

"Char." I whisper.I try again this time shaking her a bit."Char wake up."

She slowly opens her eyes and looks at me."Mimi? Why are you in here?"

"I couldn't sleep, figured we could have a girl's meeting next to the pool?" it started off as a statement but ended as a question while I looked at Char begging a little.

"Fine," she sighed."You get Eve, and I'll get Bri."

I nod and salute her."Aye aye, Ma'am."

She glared at me and I giggled a little before covering my mouth because I was suppose to be quiet.I quietly run out of Char's room and down the hallway.I hit the small table in the hall way and send a vase flying through the air.I squeak quietly and jump down to the floor sliding a little and catching the vase.I get up slowly and put it back in it's original spot.

I go to Eve's room and open the door enough to put my head in.Eve was sitting on her bed, typing on her computer, with the lights on.

"Eve." I whisper.

She looks up at me and raises an eyebrow.A silent question.

"Come on, girl's meeting by the pool." I whisper back and she nods, closing her computer and getting up.

I wait for here to grab a jacket and we head down, meeting Dylan,Char, and Bri in the living room.We all walk silently to the pool.When we get there Dylan sits on top of the waterfall with Eve. Bri sits in a chair that's pulled up next to the waterfall, and me and Char sit at the edge of the pool,near the waterfall, with our feet in the water.

"SO, what's this for?" Dylan asks.

"I just thought we should talk about today's events." I say.

She snorts," No kidding. That stupid curly ball of fur wrecked my car,then read my hospital records, and somehow I end up inviting him and his pals to my house to stay for as long as he needs."

They laugh at that and I shrug."It's cause there cute." I say and then they all stare at me."What you know it's true!" I say defensively.

They all start to nod slowly.Then Dylan spoke up.

"Speaking of them being cute.You seem to have a crush on that little Irish fella' don't ya."

I blush and start to stutter."W-what,n-no. Tha-that's insane.T-totally insane."

I hear Bri in the background say."Leave it to Dylan to make things weird."

"All that aside I have something serious to tell you nerds." Dylan said.We all looked at her and waited patiently."Okay so I feel like I know Louis, like not the 'oh I've seen you on t.v.' I mean the 'I know everything about you cause your my best friend' kind of thing.Is that weird."

"Yep" the other four of us say together.
