Healing the Heart

Dylan’s POV

I turn around at look at myself in the mirror. I looked amazing. I looked at the other girls. They looked amazing too. We were all dressed up as totally different ballerinas. We had called Owl City a while back and asked them if we could do a cover video for the song, Fireflies, and the said yes.

Mimi was wearing a medium length flowy salmon gown with no shoes on. Char was wearing a short white dress with blood red ballet shoes. Bri was wearing a skin colored leotard, with skin colored ballet shoes, a long flowy skin colored skirt, and a very spiky skin colored jacket. Eve had a black tutu on, with knee high black tights, a black crop top with purple sleeves, and black sun glasses. I had a pearl colored wedding dress, with a pearl necklace, and pearl colored ballet shoes.

“Okay girls, are you ready?” The director asks.

“Yes,” We all say at the same time.

He leads us out and places us ij out spots for the shoot. The room was littered with toys just like the original video was. I sat at the keyboard. Eve was standing by the door, leaning on it. Char was lying on the bed. Mimi was sitting up and leaning against the desk on the other side of the room from the key board. And finally Bri lied down on the floor where there was an open space next to my keyboard.

“Ready to shoot?” The director asks and we all nod. “Okay then, let’s start!!”

(Dylan:) Leave my door open just a crack

All the other girls: (Please take me away from here)

(Eve:) 'Cause I feel like such an insomniac

(Bri:) Why do I tire of counting sheep?

All of the other girls: (Please take me away from here)

(Mimi:) When I'm far too tired to fall asleep

All of the other girls; (Ha-ha)

(Dylan:) To ten million fireflies I'm weird 'cause I hate goodbyes I got misty eyes as they said farewell

All of the other girls: (Said farewell)

(Eve:) But I'll know where several are If my dreams get real bizarre 'Cause I saved a few and I keep them in a jar

All of the other girls: (Jar, jar, jar...)
