Chapter One: My Car!
Dylan's POV
My phone (the gold one) starts buzzing.I slowly look away from the tv and grab my phone.It was the alarm I had set last night: 5 am. Time to start getting ready for school.
I sigh and put my phone down.I slowly stand up and turn off the tv. I had the wonderful job of waking up the other 4 girls in my house.I walk to the edge of the living room and go up the stairs to the second floor.I enter a hallway with 5 doors and a staircase at the end.I walk past the first on because it was my room and stop in front of the second one, this was Eve's room.I knock on the door loudly and yell,"Time to get ready for school.If you don't get your ass up this first time I come here your not gonna like what happens the second time." I stop knocking and head to the next door, this was Char's room.I do the same thing to her as I did to Eve.I then go to the next door,Bri's, and repeat it.I then go to the fifth and final door,Mimi's, and do it for the last time.I then quickly go into my room.
I go into my closet and pick out my clothes for today.I then go to my bathroom and take a 5 minute shower to wash my hair and body.I get out,dry off, and get dresses in the outfit for today.After then I dry my hair and style it.
I walk out of my room and into the living room.I turn on the news because I knew the girls like to watch it when they wake up.I then go through the dinning room and enter the kitchen.
I go to the back door that leads to the porch.I open it and step out.I call the dogs,cats, and bird back to the house.We let them out each night to roam around.They all come soon after I call them and I let them in the house to do as they please of a while.Once they are all in I close the door and start to make breakfast for the five of us.I knew it would be a while before the other girls got up anyway so might as well get a head start.
After a while Eve comes in in one of her favorite outfits and hairdo.She hops up on the counter next to the stove.
"How can you be such a morning person?" She asks.
"I think you have to sleep to be considered a morning person.And we all know that I barley ever sleep."
It was true.Every time I slept I had nightmares and woke up either screaming or in a cold sweat, but it was usually screaming.I haven't had a good dream since I was 5.I don't know why I have them.People say it is because of a traumatic experience or because I have a connection to the other side.I have had many doctors try to see of they can fix it but nothing has worked.Even Anthony couldn't find a way to fix it.So I just avoid sleep as much I can.
"Damn it Dylan, how do you expect me to reply to something like that."
I smile at her comment.
I have been told that I don't have a real smile.I mean it looks like a real smile but it's not filled with happiness and excitement.It's filled with sadness, fear, and pain.Everyone says my smiles been that way ever since Evan died.
"So what are we having for our delicious breakfast o master chef."She asks while fixing her hat.
"No need to sugar coat it there sweetheart.Just some eggs,bacon,sausage,hash browns, and pancakes along with anything you want to drink."
"Sounds nummy." Char said as she came into the room with her punk outfit on and braided hair.
Oh, did I mention that today was Braid Day.We have random days sometimes and today we all had to have some sort of braid in our hair.
I look at Char over my shoulder."Hey can u go put the horses up for me.I'm kinda busy."
She nods and heads to the front of the house to get the truck, so she can drive to the stables.
"Make sure to give them food and water." I yell after her.
"Got ya." She yelled back and I hear the front door open and close soon after.
I continue cooking and after a couple minutes I look at Eve out of the corner of my eye.
"Can you please put the dogs,cats, and bird up and give them food and water please?"
She replied a quick 'K' and went off to do as I ask.We keep all the animals up in the attic while we are at school, besides the horses they stay in the stables.
I hear someone some into the kitchen and look to see who it is.Mimi was standing there looking at me with just a towel on, still wet from her shower.I turn around and cross my arms over my chest.Why the hell was she in here like that.
"Can you help me with my outfit for today?" She asked after about a minute of us just staring at each other.
"Why are you asking me for help." She could ask Bri or Eve.
"Because your the bestest friend in the whole wide world." She said like a little kid.
"And...." I knew she was just stalling.
"And I want you to help me do my hair." She said frowning because she didn't fool me.
I sigh and roll my eyes."Fine."
"YAY!" She yelled and tackled me into a hug.
Eve came back in while Mimi was still hugging me.
"Mimi......can't........breath......." I say and she let's me go.I turn to Eve and ask her to take over the cooking and she says yes.I walk with Mimi through the dining room and to the living room where we saw Bri on the couch watching the news, wearing her normal type of outfit and hair.She waved at us and we waved back.We didn't say anything because she was the worst out of all of us in the mornings.
Mimi and I walk up the stairs,down the hall, and into her bedroom.I follow her as she goes into her closet and grabs some clothes.She walks into her bathroom and I wait outside until she tells me I can come in.I walk into her bathroom and look at her outfit.She looked nice.She told me what she wanted to do with her hair so I dried it,braided it, and curled it.I stood back and look at her hair.She gives me a hug and tells me thanks and we walk downstairs.
Bri isn't on the couch anymore so we assume breakfast is ready.We go into the dinning room and see the other three waiting for us and the table all set.We sit down and we each prey before eating.
After we finish we clean up the dinning room and kitchen.We make sure all the doors and windows are locked and everything is turned off.We grab our stuff and then go outside to our truck and drive away from the house.We drive to the stables.We do the same thing there as we did at the house and then drive to the dock.We get all our stuff and climb into the our speed boat.We put the boat on automatic and watch as the island we live on gets smaller and smaller.We arrive at the harbor and park our boat.we get our stuff and go to my car.We then drive to T.T.Y.H Academy.
True to Your Heart Academy is a world famous school for people all around the world to come and learn what they want.It takes grades from Pre-K to college.It has 15 levels, dorms for the students that don't have anywhere else to live, and things for extra activities (Swimming pool,tennis court, etc.).The 1st level of the school is for Pre-K kids.The 2nd is for kindergartners, and so on until the 14th level for college kids.The 15th level is for extra classes like music,art,etc.
I stop at the security station.Since some famous people go to this school, we had a fence that went around the whole school ground.There were guards about every 20 feet the whole way around the fence but the main entrance was heavily guarded. One of the guards came up to me and I showed him my school idea and he checked it on a scanner.When he scand it a page poped up on the computer conected to the scaner.It said that I was a student here in my fourth year of college and all that good stuff.He gave me my idea back and did the same to the other 4 girls.
Once we were all done he signalled for someone to open the gate. Once it was open he told us to have a nice day and we said the same thing before driving through the gate. We drove down a log road until we got to the huge parking lot behind the school.Even though there was about an hour and a half till school starts it was almost completely full.I start to drive through the rows trying to find a spot and then I see one.I start to drive towards it and am about to pull in when another car around the corner really fast and parks there before me.The worst part was that they hit my car while doing it.The hit the side and sent us spinning out of the parking lot.I hear the girls scream and the sound of tires screeching.
While we were spinning it was like time froze.
And then I was standing like I was watching the scene.I look at myself and notice that I can see through myself.At thid point a normal person would be freaking out but I wasn't normal.This actually happens often.Remember how I said I had a conection to the other side, well I wasn't kidding!
I look up and notice the detail of everything.I could see some of the pieces of my car flying in the air.I can see all of our faces while our hair and clothes were whipped around from the spinning.I could even see the peoples reaction in the other car.Then I was back in my own body and time continued.I felt my head slam against something and pain spread through it like wildfire.
We slowly stopped spinning and I looked at the girls."Are you all okay."
Bri just nodded.
Mimi said,"I'm okay."
Eve replied with,"Just peachy."
And Char replied with,"What the hell just happened."
The girls laugh at that last one and I gave a half-smile.It was nice to know they all still had a scense of humor in this kind of situation.
I hear car doors open and close and knew it was the people in the other car but I didn't car.I got out of the car to look at the damage.
The whole drivers side of the car was smashed in.I was so pissed that I just stared at it and barely noticed that the girls had come to stand by me to look at the damage also.I glared at the car and thought 'How the hell am I gonna drive it now.Those bastards ruined my car.'
I was snapped out of my thought by someone saying."I am so sorry.Are you girls okay."
I whip around and give the person a death glare.He had curly brown hair,green eyes, and had 4 other boys standing by him, but I sure as hell didn't care at the moment.
The girl turned around and noticed how mad I was.They all took a step back right before I exploded."Oh, yeah we're fine, but what about the car.Do you see what your stupid ass driving did to it, Curly." I yell showing him the damage.
He and the other boys around him grinned like something was funny.
"Simmer down, love. We can alway fix it." Curly said.
That just made it worse.Did he just tell me to simmer down............and call me love. That was not a smart idea.
I get up close and into his face.
"Fix it.Hey Curly if you didn't notice that is a hundred-fricken-thousand dollar car there." I yell pointing at it."It costs three times as much your car just to fix that damage.And yall need to whip those stupid fuckin' grins off your face because you ain't gonna get out of this that easy.Oh and another thing, DON'T EVER CALL ME LOVE AGAIN!" I yell even louder a push a finger into his chest making him step back a little.
The girls thought that now would be a good time to jump in before I killed the idiot.Each of them grabbed me and pulled me away from him.
"Calm down, Dylan.It's fine." Bri said, and when Bri told you to calm down you just had to.She was so sweet that you couldn't upset her.
I sigh and give the bastard another death girl before going to the car and quickly grabbing my bag.I look in it and quickly grab a bottle of pills.I open the bottle and take a pill.I quickly swallow it before putting it back in the bag and then leaning on my now screwed up car. I try to breath in and out and calm myself down.
Bri,Mimi, and Char go to those boys and start to apologize for my behavior. Eve came over to me and tried to help calm me down.Once I'm calm I thank her and we walk over to the other girls.When I get there I put my hands on my hips and glare at them a bit more.
"Look I am really sorry about hitting you.I should have been paying attention.I'll pay for the damages, I have enough money too.And I..........."
I hold my hand up to cut him off."It's fine you should just pay more damn attention next time Curly."
He looks at me a little startled and then smiled showing off his dimples that I didn't notice before."My names Harry Styles." He said holding his hand out.I notice his british accent for the first time during this whole thing.Guess I was just too ticked to pay attention.
I sigh and roll my eyes."Yeah whatever Curly." I say and then shake his hand.
He just keeps smiling and then looked at his friends."These are my best mates.This is Louis." He said pointing at the guy next to him with sea green eyes.
How the hell did this turn into the 'lets all tell the everyone our names' game, please someone tell me because I damn sure didn't know.
Louis smiled and said."That's right loves.I am the one and only Louis Tomlinson." He struck a weird pose causing the other girls to laugh.He had a british accent too.What is up with all the fricken foreigners.
Louis stood up straight and nudged the blonde next to him."I'm Niall Horan." He said in an Irish accent.I saw Mimi smile out of the corner of my eye.
The guy next to him, the one with black hair said."Zayn Malik." Very simple and to the point there buddy.I already liked him.
We all look at the last boy.He was staring at me.Creep.I sigh and do the loudest New York taxi whistle you ever heard and the said loudly."Hey Mr. Creep, it's not nice to stare."
He snaps out of it and blushes a lot.His friends were already laughing, so this caused the girls to laugh and me to smile.After Louis collected himself,while the other boys were still laughing, he said," And that ladies and gentlemen is the great Liam Payne."
Everyone slowly started to stop laughing.Once everyone was done Eve decided to start our group off." I'm Evelyn Goetz but you can call me Eve."She said with a dazzling smile.
"I'm Charlotte Locke but you can call me Char." She said with her hands on her hips.
Bri looked up from the ground "I'm Brianna Tay, just call me Bri."She said and then looked back at the ground.
Mimi waved and said happily." I'm Mimilaru Angel but you can call me Mimi."
Everyone looked at me and I crossed my arms."I'm Dylan Jay, the owner of the car you just screwed up."
Eve nudged me but I just glared at her.I wasn't gonna be nice when they just ruined my car.
Curly rubbed the back of his neck and said." Yeah sorry about that,again.I'll pay for the repairs."
The other girls stare at him in surprise, but not me.I knew who these boys were., the others didn't because they didn't bother paying attention to the entertainment world much.
"How do you have enough money to cover that." Bri asks.
The boys look at each other and then say together."We're One Direction."
