Finding Myself.
betrayed.
I was woken by Louis’ voice.
Waking up, I realised it was finally Saturday. I woke up happy. I skipped down to the bathroom and took my braids out. My hair curled around my shoulders and down my back perfectly. I smiled into the mirror. After pulling the top half of my hair back into a small, thin pigtail and tying it with a white bow I’d found in the second draw, I skipped back down to my room. It was warm today, so I put on a cute lace top, with orange threading and white lace, forming flowers. I tucked my cute singlet into some white high-waisted shorts I found in my wardrobe.
I smiled at myself once again, and pranced down the stairs.
Niall was sitting in the sun room, which is the room passed the lounge-room. You couldn’t see the sun room from the front of the house, but it was big, and it was one of the best rooms in the house. Come to think of it, this was the first time I’d been in the sun room.
It had an indoor pool in the centre, beside it a spa and a small garden in the corner. Three walls of the sun room where glass, the other was a large white wall, with the small black door at the base of it.
Niall sat in a sun chair, soaking up the sun that was streaming in through the windows.
“Morning big brother!” I smiled at him. He looked up at me and smiled.
“Morning sis, you look nice today!” He complimented me as he looked at my outfit.
“Thanks!” I smiled.
At that, Louis walked in, followed by Zayn and Liam. They were all in there boardies, and it looked like they were ready to jump in the pool.
“You better get outta here little sister, or you’re gonna get a face full of pool.” Niall laughed.
I looked over at the boys, who were already making plans of how to get me in.
Louis looked at me deviously.
I took this moment to run all the way to the door and get out safely.
As I stood at the door of the sun room, and I could hear the boys jumping into the pool.
“Hey! I’m drenched now!” I heard Niall laugh, then another splash. They were all in the pool now.
I took a deep breath, than my stomach rumbled. I was starved.
I skipped across the foyer and burst into the kitchen.
“Good mor-“ I started, but stopped.
I couldn’t believe what I was seeing. There, sitting at the table, was Harry. But he wasn’t alone. Sitting next to him, was a dark haired girl. They both had their hands on the table, grasping each other’s tightly. The girl was laughing, and Harry was admiring her from where he sat.
“Oh, morning Destiny!” Harry said, looking up at me at the door.
He stood up, and the dark haired girl stood up next to him. He put his hand around her shoulders and gently. “How’d you sleep?”
“I slept fine.” I said bluntly.
“How are you?” He asked, a beam on his face.
“Fine.” I smiled at him, the smile too big and too bright to be real.
“That’s good love.” He laughed.
“Anyway, I’d like you to meet someone. This is-“ Harry said, but I cut him off.
“Yeah Harry, that’s great. I have to go.” I said, grabbing an apple off the table, then turned and left the kitchen.
I went back upstairs, taking two steps at a time. As I walked into my room, I took a bite from my apple and jumped onto my bed. I stared up at my ceiling.
Who was that girl?
I bet it was Harry’s girlfriend…
How I could I be so stupid?
I was falling for him… And I didn’t even have a chance with him.
I laughed half-heartedly at my stupidity. I never would have got Harry, but there I was, trying my hardest to grasp him.
I’m so fucking stupid!!
I needed advice, and the only girls I knew who could give it was my group from school, so I decided to call Addison.
“Hello?” Her sweet voice came into the phone. I was almost relieved to hear her quiet, kind voice.
“Addison! I need some help!” I exclaimed.
“What seems to be the matter?” She asked, a hint of worry in her voice.
“Boy troubles.” I said.
“Ok. Mall, 10am. I’ll call the others and we’ll discuss this over some window shopping and lattes.” She said all business-like.
“You’re the best.” I smiled, and hung up the phone.
