Walk for Love

~Two~

-The Next Morning-
-Louis' P.O.V.-

"You wanted to see me, Dad?" I asked as I walked into my father's office. My father is the high school's principal.

"Yes, Louis, today there is a new student coming to the school from America. She's going to come later than usual because, well, she disabled." He said to me. When he said 'disabled', my heart cracked. She's going to be made fun of, and her American accent will make it even worse.

"And this has to do with me because?" I ask impatiently, but I felt a small pang of guilt afterward. I'm a bit sassy.

"You see, she has her own truck but her wheel-chair is in the bed of the truck and she can't walk, so she needs someone to help her to get in and out of her truck in the mornings and afternoons. I am assigning you to help her-"

"What?! Why?!" I ask. I have nothing against the girl-I mean, I've never met her- but if my friends (A.K.A. the popular crowd) saw me, they'd think I was a joke! But I do have four other friends who are actually TRUE friends and probably wouldn't mind.

"I'm assigning you to help her because I want you to show more responsibility and be more responsible. Especially considering the events that have occurred over the past few days." My father said, giving me a disappointed look. Oh, I know what he's talking about. A few days ago I got a new tattoo without telling my parents. They took my car away for three weeks and now my dads using it, which is part of my punishment I'm guessing. He drives to school every morning, while I walk alone in the rain. I mean, what kind of father does that?

I sighed and crossed my arms, glaring at my father. "FIIIIIIIINE." I said after a minute or two of us glaring at each other. My father glanced out the window and his eyes widened. "Oh, I think that's her! I want you two to skip all of your classes leading up to lunch to get to know each other a little bit. You can use the old math classroom. Now go!" He said, shooing me away. "Okay, okay..." I said, hurrying out of the room. I had to admit, I was a bit excited. What can I say, I love meeting new people!

As I walked out into the parking lot, I looked around for a truck with a wheel-chair in the bed. Once I spotted it, I went to the drivers side to knock on the window, but before I did, I heard a voice from the inside of the truck.

-Bree's P.O.V.-

After I pulled up into the school parking lot, I sat in the truck and waited for the student that was assigned to help me out of the car. I decided to sing one of the older songs I wrote and record it on my iPhone. It's called 'Love Story', based on Romeo and Juliet.

"Love Story"
We were both young when I first saw you.
I close my eyes and the flashback starts:
I'm standing there on a balcony in summer air.

See the lights, see the party, the ball gowns.
See you make your way through the crowd
And say, "Hello,"
Little did I know...

That you were Romeo, you were throwing pebbles,
And my daddy said, "Stay away from Juliet"
And I was crying on the staircase
Begging you, "Please don't go"
And I said...

Romeo, take me somewhere we can be alone.
I'll be waiting; all that's left to do is run.
You'll be the prince and I'll be the princess,
It's a love story, baby, just say, "Yes."

So I sneak out to the garden to see you.
We keep quiet 'cause we're dead if they knew
So close your eyes... escape this town for a little while.
Oh, oh.

'Cause you were Romeo – I was a scarlet letter,
And my daddy said, "Stay away from Juliet."
But you were everything to me,
I was begging you, "Please don't go."
And I said...

Romeo, take me somewhere we can be alone.
I'll be waiting; all that's left to do is run.
You'll be the prince and I'll be the princess.
It's a love story, baby, just say, "Yes."

Romeo, save me, they're trying to tell me how to feel.
This love is difficult but it's real.
Don't be afraid, we'll make it out of this mess.
It's a love story, baby, just say, "Yes."

Oh, oh.

I got tired of waiting
Wondering if you were ever coming around.
My faith in you was fading
When I met you on the outskirts of town.
And I said...

"Romeo, save me, I've been feeling so alone.
I keep waiting for you but you never come.
Is this in my head? I don't know what to think."
He knelt to the ground and pulled out a ring and said...

"Marry me, Juliet, you'll never have to be alone.
I love you, and that's all I really know.
I talked to your dad – go pick out a white dress
It's a love story, baby, just say, "Yes."

Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh.

'Cause we were both young when I first saw you.

As I finished singing the song and recording it, my eyes widened as I realized that there was someone standing outside of the truck, and they had heard me sing the whole song.
