There's a knock at my door. Okay just be cool. Nothing's going to happen I'm simply hanging out with Harry.
I open the door after unlocking the chain and glance out noticing Harry in a pair of nice jeans with a dark green collared shirt. He seemed a little surprised at my choice of clothing.
"Shorts and a t-shirt? That's nice" he said as I shut the door on him but I was still able to talk to him.
"Hey it's okay I didn't mean to sound rude."
"Yeah, I just wasn't expecting anything fancy" I said sure he could detect the nervous tone in my voice.
"Can I come in now" he pleaded as I rolled my eyes and let the boy in.

"Do you have any requests" Harry asks referring to the music station.
"No, anythings okay."
he changed stations a few times before settling on a Beatles song.
"So you like the Beatles" I asked.
"Yes I do, you don't?"
"No I do."
"Huh" he wondered "I didn't expect you to be a Beatles fan" he said surprised.
"Well growing up my dad played their music so I know a pretty good majority of their songs. What did you expect?"
"I expected you to be a fan of the mainstream music, like pop and stuff."
"Your right but just because I like some of those songs doesn't mean my music taste is totally shot."
"I beg to differ" he said smiling playfully.
We pulled up to the restaurant ,he got out and came to my side of the car opening the door, while I hopped out.
"Wow" is all I could manage to say.
"Only the best" harry said.
"Harry you can't be serious."
"Oh but I am."
He led me inside.
"Why are you doing this" I asked curiously.
"it's for you. I just wanted to make a good impression especially after running in front of your car" he said laughing at the end.
"oh so now you admit it."
"yes."
Over the course of our dinner we talked and laughed and I realized Harry's not that bad of a guy after all. But it didn't matter. I don't have time for this. School is all I can think about right now among other things.
On the drive home Harry asked me a question I don't typically answer just because I've never talked about it with anyone besides my sister once.
"So just out of curiosity, if someone were to take you out on a real date. What would you want to do?"
"I would want to get picked up at four in the morning," I can see I have his full attention now "then drive down to a beach where we could watch the sunrise and spend the day together. As cheesy as that sounds" I said with embarrassment laced in my voice.
"That's nice."
"What about you" I asked.
"I would take my girl to a lake and row her in a rowboat down an area with a bunch of trees just as the sun starts to set. Then if I'm lucky enough to have a random rain cloud appear I would take her in my arms and kiss her."
"You totally got that from 'The Notebook' didn't you?"
"Okay fine you caught me" he said laughing as I joined in.
"I wouldn't mind recreating it though" he said with a sly smile across his face.
Once we pulled up to my house I thanked him and got out of the car expecting nothing. Instead he said: "Wait one second. I'm going to walk you to your door."
So we did and right before I went inside he said "you looked beautiful tonight" and kissed the back of my hand backing away slowly, back to his car.
I entered my house trying to rid the feeling that now arose in my chest thinking "okay" so that went differently then I expected.
