Something Changed
Lights
When we arrived to our destination I couldn't help but gleam. It was the tree lighting ceremony in downtown. This is perfect I thought to myself.
"Are you excited" Harry asked with a grin.
"Yes, yes I am. And I remembered to bring my gloves too."
"Aww man" Harry said disappointed.
"What's wrong?"
"It's just I was hoping to hold your hands if you needed warming up" he said bringing the smile back.
"Haha oh well" I said grinning back while sticking my tongue out. Wow did I really just do that?
We met up with Violet outside the Hard Rock Cafe.
"Why are you alone?"
"Oh I'm just waiting for my date to come out. He had to go to the bathroom."
"Actually, that doesn't sound like such a bad idea" I said walking into the restraunt while Harry and Violet stayed outside.
I exited the bathroom only to then bump into a guy as clumsily as possible falling on top of him.
"Audrey?"
"Tyler" I said in disbelief.
'"Who would've known you'd be the first person I see walking out of the bathroom."
"Yeah, pretty funny haha" I said awkwardly.
"How have you been?"
"Oh, good, good just a little tied down at the moment."
"Yeah," I said immediately followed by a heavyset woman in her 40's grunting for us to get up and go.
"Oh crap" I said apologizing a bunch of times before she walked away rolling her eyes.
Me and tyler couldn't hold our laughed.
"Wow, you haven't changed a bit."
"Excuse me" I said rude yet still with laughter.
"I mean you're just so nice."
"Thanks" I said feeling my face get hot, but I think it was just beginning to thaw from the cold.
thats when we were interrupted by Violet and not so happy looking Harry.
"Hello, how are you doing" Harry asked Tyler right away.
"I'm good. Now, are we ready to go?"
"Yeah, come on" Violet said smiling as she tugged tyler away.

"It should be happening pretty soon" Harry said his voice leaving breath clouds as he spoke.
It was freezing outside.
"Harry I'm gonna go get some hot chocolate, want anything?"
"No, it's alright love, I've got it."
"Harry, I can get it myself" I said not backing down. He didn't have to do everything.
"Alright, I'll be right here then" he said giving me a slight smile.
I walked up to the booth and asked for a hot chocolate. Thank goodness there wasn't a line. Then I turned around to find Tyler.
"I see you had the same idea" he said laughing lightly.
"Yeah, it's cold out man. Where's violet?"
"Oh she went to talk to Harry while I grabbed us some coa coa.
I just nodded. It was too cold to talk.
Harry's POV
I turned around to find Audrey chatting with Tyler again. I don't not like tyler, I just don't like the way he's talking to Audrey. When I saw them together at the Hard Rock Cafe I got a weird vibe about them two. I don't see why it's so easy for her to talk to Tyler but whenever I say something it can set her off. She's here with me now though, so she can't completely hate me.
I excused myself from the conversation with Violet and walked towards them.
"Audrey, the lights are about to come on."
"Oh, okay" she said waving goodbye to Tyler.
We walked into the sea of people, me behind her, holding hands before she stopped.
"This is the perfect spot" she said in awe of what was about to happen.
I noticed her shivering.
I wrapped my arms around her hoping to warm her up as she looked up at me with that beautiful smile of hers.
"You're beautiful" I whispered into her ear.
that's when the countdown started to begin.

Audreys POV
The lights glistened and glowed twinkling on the giant tree in front of us. It seemed even more amazing than the last time I was here. Maybe it was because I had Harry holding me. I glanced around to see if Tyler and Violet had strayed far and they hadn't. They were holding their drinks in one hand, and each others hand in the other. I had nothing to worry about after all.
The only thing that matters is Harry holding me.
"Look over there" Harry shouted pointing to the moon.
Of course I looked, foolish me, turning back around only to be surprised with a kiss by this beautiful green eyed boy.
