chapter 6
Liam's POV
So we went back to my room. "Do you want anything, a dring or a snack?" I asked her. "No thanks. Liam we just ate." she said. "Oh yeah, sorry the room is a mess." I said. "It's fine. Liam why are you so nervous?" she asked me. "I don't know I just really like you and I don't want you to think i'm a slob or something." I said. "Aww Liam I really like you too and I don't care if you are a slob." she said and came over and hugged me. "Aw thanks." I said. She walked over to the window and was looking out. "Oh my gosh Liam come here." she said. "What?" I asked walking over "Just look." she said and turned my face to the window. "Holy shit that's a lot of people I wonder why they are here. I didn't think there was any celebrities coming today." I said. "Liam look, look at there signs what do they say." she said. "Holy crap." I said. There was thousands of people some of them with signs. The most of the signs had me and the boys names on them. There were also some with Lizzy's name on them. "We have fans." I said. "We have fans!" I shouted looking at Lizzy. "WE HAVE FANS!" we both screamed. And we kind of did a happy dance around the room. "Hey can we go out on the balcony? I've always loved balconies." Lizzy said. "Sure. Whatever you want." I said. So we opened the doors and walked out. I went to grab her hand but she pulled away. "What will they think?" she said and nodded towards the fans who haven't seen us yet. "I don't care. I want to show you off." I said and held out my hand to her. This time she grabbed it and smiled. Just then the fans realized we were there and started screaming. "Woah they are loud." she said. "I know right are you ok do you want to go inside?" I asked her. "Heck no this is awesome!" she said and stared waving at the fans. They were all screaming our names and questions. We were only on floor 1 so we could here them all. "Are you guys dating?!" "LIAM!! I LOVE YOU!!!" "LIZZY YOUR VOICE IS AMAZING." They all scream stuff like that. "Well I don't know if I should be jealous or happy that they love you." Lizzy said. "What!" I yelled over the fans, they were so loud I couldn't hear her. She nodded to the door and we waved one last time and went inside. "I said i'm not sure if I should be jealous or happy that they love you." she said "Babe there's no reason to be jealous your the only one for me." I said. I was staring at her. Her eyes, her smile... her lips. God she was so beautiful. I was suddenly aware that we were standing very close to each other. "Good because i'm not letting you go." she said. I wanted to kiss her so bad. Kiss her I was telling myself. And I started to lean. "Liam." she said and i stopped. "Yes?" I said. "I love you." she said. She loves me! "I love you to Lizzy, forever and always." I said starting to lean again. And I crashed my lips into hers. It was a gentle kiss. But it still made fireworks go off in my head. We wanted, no needed each other. I could feel her smiling into the kiss. She pulled away first still smiling. "Wow." she said and put her fingers to her lips. "Was that real?" she asked me. "Well I sure hope it was." I said. "Was it ok?" I asked her. "It was better than ok.. Liam?" she said. "Yes?" I asked her. "I think i'm falling in love with you, and i'm scared." she said. "I think I am in love with you too Lizzy and I would never, ever in a million years hurt you on purpose." I told her. "I believe you." she said. We went over and sat on my bed and she cuddled into me. "Who do you want to get as your mentor?" she asked me. "Well I hope I get Simon." I said. "What about you who do you want?" I asked her "Well I hope I get Nicole." she said "I'm gonna miss you." she said. "I'm gonna miss you too but we will call and text everyday right." I said. "Of coarse, Liam what happens when one of us has to go home?" she asked me. "Well I don't know we will deal with it when it happens." I said not wanting to think about that right now. I could tell she was getting tired. "Are you tired?" I asked her. "Yeah I should probably get back to my room it is like 10." she said. I really didn't want her to leave. "Stay here." I said. "What?" she asked me. "You can sleep here tonight, please." I said. "Well I guess I can. But I don't have anything to change into." she said. "Well you can borrow some of my clothes I will be right back." I said and went to grab her a shirt and a pair of sweat pants. "Thanks. I will be right back." she said. "Why you can change here." I said and smiled. "Liam." she said in a stern voice. "What I won't look, I don't want you to have to walk all the way down the hall." I said. "Fine but Liam don't look i'm very insecure about my body." she said. She turned around and started undressing. I couldn't help but look, she was so beautiful. She had no reason to be insecure. I snuck up behind her when she was done. "You are beautiful you have no reason to be insecure about your body." I said. "You looked?!" she asked me. "Sorry I couldn't help myself you are just so... Wow." I said. She looked down and blushed. "Thanks but next time don't look!" she said. "There's gonna be a next time?" I asked smiling. She just rolled her eyes at me. "Typical boy." she said. We went and laid on my bed. She cuddled into me. "Hey Lizzy" I said I had to ask her or it was gonna bother me forever. "Yeah?" she said. "Who were you talking to when I walked up to you in the hallway earlier?" I asked. "Oh I was just talking to my step brother, Logan, why?" she said. "Oh I was just wondering, what were you talking about?" I asked. "Oh nothing much we were just catching up." she said. "Ok." I said. I knew she wasn't telling the whole truth. I could tell that she was deep in through. "Goodnight Lizzy." I said. "Goodnight Liam." she said. I watched her as she slowly drifted to sleep. "Sweet dreams." I whispered and kissed her on the forehead. I tried to go to sleep but I couldn't stop think about what would happen when on of us has to go home. Long distance relationships never worked we both knew that. I was just about to fall asleep when she suddenly screamed and jolted up. "Tyler!" she screamed. She started to cry. I quickly pulled her into my arms. "Tyler." she said again softer this time. "Hey shhh shhhh it was just a dream it wasn't real." I said and stroked her hair. "It was so real.. so real." she said. "Just like that night so real..." she trailed off. "Lizzy who is Tyler? And what night?" I asked. "My- my brother" she said. Tyler is her brother. I am so stupid. I thought she was cheating on me I should have known she would never do anything like that. "What happened?" I asked her. "My- my dad." she said. "Do you want to talk about it?" I asked her.
Lizzy's POV
Did I? I needed to get this off of my chest I can't hold it in forever and I trust Liam. So I just nodded my head. We were now sitting across from each other on his bed. "My dad had always had anger issues, but he had never taken them out on me to Tyler before. But on night he came home and he was drunk. He went into the kitchen to make a sandwich. But there was no bread left, I was sitting on the couch in the living room. He came out and yelled at me asking who ate the last piece of bread. Then he suddenly pulled out a gun and aimed it at me. Then he asked me again, still yelling. I was to terrified to answer him. Just then my brother came out of his room. I did was all he said. My dad turned around so fast and walked slowly to him. My mind was telling me to run- run as fast as I could. So I grabbed my cell phone and ran out of the house. I ran into the woods next to the house. I heard a gunfire. Then he must have realized that I was gone so he came outside looking for me, I quickly hid in a bush." I paused. I realized i was shaking and tears were silently streaming down my face. "Go on." Liam said. "When he couldn't find me he went back in the house. So I quickly called the police. He had shot my brother in the head. The police arrested him and my brother died. He got life in prison." I finished and collapsed into Liam's arms, still crying. "Liz i'm so sorry no one deserves that." he said. Telling that story had taken all of the energy out of me so before I could answer him I feel asleep in his arms. He made me feel safe I didn't want to leave him.
Liam's POV
She feel asleep in my arms. She had told me her story and it had taken everything out of her. Why do the bad things have to happen to the good people in life. She didn't deserve that. I laid her back down on my bed and tucked her in, then I laid down next to her. I feel asleep that way, not wanting tomorrow to come.
