Three of a kind
Finally Out
Sam's POV
I woke up, and Louis was sitting in a chair in front of my bed. When he saw me, his eyes widened. "How are you feeling?" He asked.
Shrugging, I replied, "Im fine."
"When you were sleeping, a nurse came in and said you could leave when you woke up." I smiled, showing off my pearly white teeth.
"Great!" He handed me a pile if clothing, and I stepped into the bathroom to change out of the hospital gown. When I stepped out he handed me his phone.
"Put your number in?" He asked shyly. "Just in case you need anything." Smiling, I added my number into his phone. When I was done, he shoved it in his pocket.
"Your friends, Mac and Piper, are in the waiting room." He stated.
My hands fussed with my hair as I smiled, "Thanks."
"No problem, and your hair looks great."
Looking at him, I said, "Thanks." He was so nice, and charming, and very good looking... I stopped myself. No. You have no time for relationships. You came here on a scholarship, you can't lose that.
Taking a deep breath, I nodded, and walked to the waiting room. As soon as I saw Piper and Mac, I ran to them, giving them each big hugs.
As we exchanged news, Louis stood in the background. I felt a twinge of guilt. I turned away from my friends, "We better get home." They nodded, walking out the door.
"Thank you Louis." I simply stated.
"For what?" He looked confused.
I shrugged. "Paying for my experience in the hospital," I knew I certainly couldn't afford it, "And for being so nice." Quickly and awkwardly, I gave him a hug and a kiss on the cheek.
"See you around Louis!" I called, walking out the door.
All the way back to the dorm, I couldn't stop thinking about him.
Why?
Did I like him...?
