Maybe in 7 years
I walk into school the school hallways looking around. This is it, the last day of school and the first day of my life. I am finally leaving Williamson Secondary School. I mean yes I will miss the memories like me, Danielle and Eleanor pranking the Golfers by swapping their golf balls with stink bombs or putting permanent markers on the board instead of whiteboard pens
"Dear god, it has finally happened" Eleanor says walking to me with Danielle
"Yeah, last day of school to the rest of our lives" Danielle says. We walk to our lockers unlocking it and getting our books from our bags
"Hello Sophie" I turn around and see the hottest man in school. Well that is what everyone says but I don't agree. I sigh in annoyance as I turn around. Anyone would be screaming or fainting if they were talking to George, but I'm not
"What George" I ask
"Well seeing as though its the end of school I thought that you could go to my house. My parents won't be home and we will be all alone" George whispers the last part in my ear seductively
"Just go away, talk to some slut who will want to do stuff with you" I say pushing him away
"For god sake Sophie, any girl will do anything to be with me and you are just don't want to. Do you have brain damage of something, just one date" George asks
"Go George and don't come back" I turn back to my locker as George walks away annoyed
"Wow, you let him down gently" Eleanor says
"I don't want to date, I want to get a job then house then finally go into a relationship" I say closing my empty locker
"Fine but then I am finally finding you a cute date" Danielle says
"I am going to talk to Louis" Eleanor says putting her bag around her shoulders
"I will come with you. Liam is probably with him" Danielle and Eleanor both leave finding their loving boyfriends
"Hello Sophie" I turn around and see the school nerd Marcel by his locker. I feel sorry for him; he gets bullied everyday to nearly everyone including George
"Hello Marcel" I say smiling at him. There is a look of delight in his eyes
"Um you know we have known each other since we were 10" Marcel says nervously
"Yes we have" I say
"Well I want you to know I have always liked you" Marcel says
"I like you too" I say
"Really" excitement is the look in Marcel's eyes
"Um yeah" I say
"Well would you like to go out maybe Friday night" Marcel asks. I am shocked, oh my god Marcel is asking me out. He must have thought I like you means I like you
"Um Marcel...." I am interrupted by Marcel
"I knew you would say No" Marcel says with disappointment
"No....um...why don't we make a deal" I say "By the age of 24 if we are both single why don't we go on a date. See what happens"
"OK" Marcel says with excitement
"I'm going to go and find my friends" I say putting my bag on my shoulders
"I will see you soon" Marcel says in the distance. 7 years should be a long time
