• Three days Later •

So I couldn't hide the truth from my mom, which sucked because she called the school like the control freak she is. She ended up getting me suspended, along with Will and his friends because even though it was after school, we were on school grounds. But today was my first day back to school and I was excited to see my friends and most importantly, Harry. Well Mr. Styles. He didnt know I had been suspended for two days. He probably thought I was sick or something. I'll have lots of make up work.
I parked my car in the school parking lot, walking in to school feeling good. I still had bruises on my rib cage, and my lip was in the healing process, but I didn't care. I opened my locker and put my bag away when I felt someone hug me from behind. I turned and see Sandy.
" Maria! I'm so happy your back! I love you so much for what you did! How about we go to Kelly's after school today, on me." She said.
" Sure." I giggled. I shut my locker and she linked arms with me.
" So what'd you do on your two days off?" She asked.
" Erm, well, I watched TV because my mom wouldn't let me do anything else."
" Why?" We walked through our first hour door.
" Well she was mad at me for starting a fight with three guys that were bigger than me. But then again proud that I stood up for you." We sat down at our usual seats in the back. I scanned the class room for my favorite teacher, to not find him. I sighed and leaned back.
" Well, I guess it could have been worse."
i nodded. The bell rung, and my day suddenly got better as I saw him walk through the door way.
" Good morning class." He said sitting on the edge of his desk.
" Good morning." We all said. He took a clipboard off his desk and flipped through the papers, dangling his left leg.
" I see everyone is actually here today." He looked up after attendance. His eyes met mine for a split secound and I knew he meant me. I felt a tap on my shoulder. I looked over at Sandy.
" You have a lot of work to make up." She whispered. I sighed and nodded.
" Figured."
He started talking about the lesson they've learned about the past couple of days. I just looked at the blackboard and zoned out.

When the bell rung for the end of the hour instead of leaving I prepared myself, and approached his desk.
" Mr. Styles." I said. He looked up from his paper and smiled, bringing his hands together.
" Hello Ms. Summers."
I nodded.
" So, I wasn't here the past couple of days, and I need the make up work." I said. He nodded, standing up and digging through his drawers.
" I heard about what happened Maria." He said.
" So you know I got suspended?" I asked. He nodded.
" I wish I could have been there to defend you but I didn't know about it until yesterday."
I but my lip, trying to stop the smile forming on my face. He put a book and a packet on the table.
" Here. We're reading Romeo and Juliet, and this is the packet you have to answer."
I picked up the book and smiled.
" I've read this so many times."
his eyes met mine.
" Really?"
iIshook my head yes.
" Yep."
he studied me a bit longer.
" I think that's very Attra- Impressive." He corrected himself. Yep. I was dying on the Inside. I had to get out of here before I started jumping up and down with happiness. I just but my lip and smiled.
" Thanks."
" Well, you better hurry off to Secound hour. Don't want to be late." He smiled. I nodded, walking towards the door.
" Bye Mr. Styles."
" Bye Maria."

• Harry's pov•

I mentally slapped myself as I watched her leave. How could I slip like that? I almost said attractive and she knows it. I ran a hand through my hair while watching the students coming in for their next class.
